Not vouching for the dude because I just don't know...here for the lol's
But as far as usaa is concerned transactions made over the weekend are not processed until Monday. So a pending transaction is shown to reflect the money comig out but won't post till the next business day (Monday 5/12)

That part may be legit, weekend purchase so it reflects the next business day. "The French restaurant" though is completely phony.

You guys do know that almost all restaurants require a deposit for party reservations. If paying with your debit card, sometimes they won't immediately charge your account and will have it posted to be withdrawn from your acount on the day of your event.
