I dont see why JB wont do more Chicago Bulls or UNC inspired colorways for the IXs. Forget these cartoon colorways for QS. They should release those Mitch Richmond IXs along with other 1993-1994 P.E. that had us stymied back then.

Sadly after Nike's weak 4th fiscal quarter they are trying everything possible to keep investors interested.  With Jordan brand carrying them what better way to boost quarterly numbers than by dropping random shoes in hideous colorways in hopes of boosting share values.  We all know JB could put out decent colorways but I honestly think the Fake producers have beat them to it.  Just think about it.... how would you feel buying a colorway that was sold on the fake market first and then made its way to mainstream???  I'm no supporter of fakes at all but you've seen all the fakes j's in every colorway floating around...JB has more challenges than we think when it comes to making retro + colorways from original ideas... the marketing concept behind it is cool... but thats just the point NIKE has become a marketing GIANT and offering you a shoe that only cost them the cost of a combo meal at any fast food shop to make....
