Your Take On People Boycotting Bred 4 & 11 Release

Usually the purpose behind a boycott is to achieve a desired outcome.  What do plan to achieve by NOT buying shoes?  What is the plan.. to get a whole bunch of sneakerheads to line up in malls and shopping centers and strip malls all to not buy the shoes that are to be released in a couple hours?  Better yet how about you make some signs with your demands from JB and strike on release day and watch how resellers walk right by you and smile all the way to the bank since they just got your size to re-sell.  Face it... shoes are the new jewelry to the young kids, back in the day it was all about the piece and chain around your neck, now its about the jumpman on your feet.
 
Agreed. Buy what you think is worth it and pass on everything else. Complaining won't get you anywhere.they dont hear us really. There's threads on shoes wed kill to spend our hard earned money on, that we've yet to see. Boycotting jb won't ever work, because we all love the product, BS or not. If you really have feelings about quality, catch the older retros or even ogs, get into restoring (its actually fun!). In the end businesses have to stay afloat. I wish I wouldn't have to buy two big macs at mickey D's, being that they're BIG MACS! but if mickey D's goes under for my reasoning, then there's nine for anybody.

Appreciate your reasoning. I actually am doing sole swaps on my 99 white cement 4 and breds soon. Got everything i need, and looking forward to how they come out!
 
It will make it easier for me to get my 2-3 pairs. I need that trade bait. So i can finally get the BC IIIs and one for down the line when someone is thirsthin.

Damn some of u take this so serious. Im pretty sure talk of boycott started in this thread.No one is boycotting they are having little fits then waking up morning of release and buying them. But they will not be happy about it.
 
naw not thinking bout boycotting when there's other people that will go buy the shoe regardless.
 
boycotting will do nothing, JB wont even notice.... they will just keep stackin that bread
 
Love the IVs so Ill be getting them. XIs on the other hand are nice, but I don't like them enough to justify paying $200+ for them. Not many shoes are worth that price to me. And when all the other retros go beyond $160, it''ll have to be a model and colorway i'm in love with.
 
Some people treat Jordan Retros like that gf they always fight with but don't have the balls to move on from no matter bad it gets

Now people wanna give Jordan Brand an ultimatum like they're really going to miss you once your $185 spot in line is instantly filled by another kid with $370 coppin his pair and the pair you gave up.  I do see the hype for retros dying down eventually.  Either the price will be ridiculously too high or the quality will just be horrible.  If that time is now then so be it.  But people act like there's going to be a huge revolution with muskets and bayonets tearing through Nike Oregon and they want people to know, "It was ME who brought down Jordan Brand and their reign of terror over cheap materials and high prices!  How dare they FORCE us to purchase an inferior product!"  And to think... all of this could have been avoided if only there was another brand out there...
