Welp, Nintendo finally made an update to Splatoon to balance gameplay. The Kraken plus a few other things got nerfed. =(

Tower Control arrives tomorrow. Looks pretty fun. They previewed it and a new stage during Nintendo Treehouse earlier today.

I think this is one of the biggest problems with Nintendo this generation. They need to do a better job catering to their core fans simply because we are the only ones buying there hardware in large numbers this gen. Almost no fan service and being unapologetic for it.

We even have Reggie telling fans who are mad about not having a true Metroid game they need to basically shut up and play the Metroid game we give you. That's not how you build a sustainable business IMO. There has to be some give and take.

They seem way too focused on appeasing Japanese gamers when Western markets make up the biggest chunk of the industry. We're still waiting on Xenoblde Chronicles X, we still don't have a release date for Devil's Third, heard nothing about Fatal Frame at E3, and no focus on voice chat and other online features are still missing... NOA needs better leadership and direction.

Not sure if he is the one for total blame but Reggie is a clown. Iwata apologized after that horrendous E3 direct and then Reggie comes out and says well it wasn't really an apology like come on man, everybody knows that conference was trash and he's out here trying to act like we're dumb.

Pokkén Tournament livestream planned for Friday

NicoNico just announced that they’re planning a livestream for the upcoming Pokkén Tournament this Friday, July 3rd.
The stream will take place on July 3rd at 12:00 BST, 13:00 CEST, 20:00 JST, 07:00 EDT and 04:00 PDT and will provide tons of new information on new Pokémon, mechanics, as well as an official release date for the arcade machines in Japan! A tournament will also take place during the stream and will consist of Gengar and a new Pokémon that will be unveiled during the stream on Friday.
