Any news on the NES Classic availability? Seems like it'll be hard to come by

I've been googling everyday to see when pre-orders become available and there is still nothing new being reported. I hope there isn't a long line for these on release day.

 
No confirmed numbers but pre-orders are selling out all across the world.

Man...I wonder if Nintendo will make a large amount of these.

I'm wondering as well. It's the perfect bday gift since it's dropping the day after my bday

I plan on checking in with Gamestop today after work. And since it's releasing on the 11th, I have that day off. So if I need to 'lineup' or get it when stores open, then I'll do that.

I'm just surprised that Gamestop hasn't received any word about pre-ordering them...Are they going to be that limited?

Welp, I went to Gamestop and they still didn't have a clue about the Nintendo NES Classic releasing nor do they know when the pre-order is going to begin...Yet they already began pre-orders for RDR2 and that's releasing a year from now.

Annoying.

Time Gettys (Kinda Funny) saying it's going to be a 3 minutes preview trailer. You have a console releasing in March and all you have available is a 3 minute trailer

You don't really need much more. Console launches are almost guaranteed to sell out the initial shipments. What is more important is what comes afterwards for Nintendo. They need to really bring it with the software they need to have smash, Mario kart, Zelda, Pokémon, Mario reimaingined, splatoon all on the platform within the first 6-9 months for it to not go the way of the Wiiu and that's just the beginning

Personally I don't care what it looks like, I just want a normal controller and a 3D Mario game similar to SM64. I wouldn't mind a surprise either but I need to be convinced this time around.

I wonder if it'll be just a home console (highly doubt it), or if it is in fact the home console/portable console hybrid. I hope the latter, I wanna be on the train with my headphones playing some Zelda with Wii U level graphics!
