I thought about picking it up and leaving it at my girls house .
To play mario kart
Super Mario bros and pretty much it. I guess I have a hard time trying to justify buying it . Why are you tired of it?

It's worth keeping, IMO. Sure, the third-party support isn't great (like most Nintendo consoles), but the first-party games are worth it alone. Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Super Mario 3D World, etc... Splatoon hasn't been out a year yet and I've put in over 700 hours into it already. I've NEVER been into online shooters, yet somehow that magic touch Nintendo puts into their games has me addicted... With so many Wii U titles having low print runs, keeping it would be a good idea since you'll probably have a hard time tracking down everything later if you end up regretting your decision.

It's funny 'cause I thought that at first too, but then for some reason I took it seriously.

I made a nice trade this weekend, traded Bloodborne (got it digitally via gameshare) for Ocarina of Time 3DS, played it a little this week, it looks real good on the DS

Haven't been in this thread in a min...I gotta show y'all my amiibo collection now!

And who's Mario is this creating this hooplah, I don't think anyone wants to see my Mario in smash :nerd:

Bayonetta 2 on sale at Gamestop. Used version for 32, coupon code CAG16 brings it down to 27.

@Guzzy You'll only be able to wear your Splatfest tee during the Splatfest on Friday/Saturday, so this might be a good time to level it up if you picked a team already.
Latest leak suggests Nintendo NX may run at 900p resolution and have motion controls
Nintendo’s upcoming system might be released this year, but most of the information we have on it is based on rumors. We can add even more to the rumor pile today with this latest morsel of information that hints at what to expect from the console.

Today on Twitter, Liam Robertson, an enthusiast “who who helps uncover lost games that were never released” (according to his Twitter profile), was sent information on the NX. He posted this on Twitter.

This info is from a GFK (Nintendo client) survey. Robertson didn’t take the survey himself, but the survey was sent to several people. The image is from one of these folks, but Robertson cropped it for the sake of their anonymity.

Info regarding the games coming to the system and players connecting to each other via the Nintendo Network isn’t exactly surprising. However, there are some things on here which are a bit surprising, if not befuddling. The thing that sticks out the most is that the system will run at 900p resolution. This may be due to how games are said to run at 60 frames per second. Much like with Uncharted 4’smultiplayer mode, the system will display games at 900p in order to accommodate for the higher frame rate. If this part is true, then that means the NX is no more powerful than the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 — a common trend Nintendo seems to follow, their “next-gen” systems being about as powerful as their competitors’ last-gen systems.

Despite the low resolution of the console, it will supposedly be able to stream video at 4K resolution. If the system is only capable of displaying images at 900p, then why would it stream in 4K? I would imagine the picture quality would take a serious hit from being converted to a higher resolution, much more so than taking a 900p image and enlarging it to fit a standard 1080p television.

The system is also set to have achievements like other consoles and services, and it will also allow users to surf the web and make video phone calls, suggesting a service like Skype or Google Hangouts.

It will also come with a sensor bar, which suggests the console may have some sort of motion control features, or perhaps will keep the Wiimote control much in the way the Wii U did.

Like the Wii U, the system will allow players to transition from playing on their console to their controller. What’s interesting here is that the survey calls it the “Nintendo NX handheld device.” This suggests that perhaps one doesn’t need to be in close proximity of the console in order to play games. This could also explain why games run at a lower resolution since they have to be displayed on a smaller screen.

As always, all of this should be taken with a big spoonful of salt. Though this survey has been confirmed to be legit, that doesn’t mean the information it contains is set in stone. However, given Nintendo’s history with inferior hardware compared to its competitor, I wouldn’t be surprised if this console does run at 900p. The rumor of the sensor bar brings back some unpleasant memories of the Wii and the motion control fad. That last part worries me far more than the low resolution of the system.

We’ll have to wait and see what’s true or not with the NX when the console is officially unveiled sometime this year.
