The best thing about the trailer for me was the citing of a new Mario and a Xbox looking controller. I hope they add a trophy/achievement like system as well. Possibly a day one for me.

^ you didn't peep papi in da commercial taking it on an airplane flight.
Probably one of da biggest selling points is that you can continue ya gaming experience on da go*

*Pending battery life results.

Games are going to look basura on the Switch unless the dock has another processor running in SLI.

I'm going to buy it just for the new Mario game alone. Don't really care for the portable functionality but as long as it's still a powerful home console I'm happy. Seriously though, who would take this anywhere with them besides little kids lol.
Break rooms bout to be lit as hell.

I haven't touched anything Nintendo related in YEARS. Last thing I had a DS Lite and the original Wii. I just couldn't get down with the Wii U or portable gaming (3DS). But I think I might be back in now. I'll probably wait a year or 2 for bundles and deals.

I miss Smash Bros and Mario Kart. And that new Zelda :nerd: , about to hit Nintendo with that "Hey, big head" text. It's been too long.

OMG

I'm saying though the idea of playing games like this and Smash bros/Mario kart on the same system is dope

If multiplayer for the device is seemless and it comes with necessary peripherals out the box, RIP SONY and M$

With the way they showed a clip of an "e-sports tournament" in that trailer, it appears Nintendo is gonna give it a shot with their Switch................but we really need to see how the final specs turn out for this console.

Considering both Sony and Microsoft are both coming out with 4K-performance versions of their PS4 and XB1 consoles respectively, it is a really far stretch to say if Nintendo's mobile innovation alone will be able to kill off the "multiplayer co-op dominance" that Sony & Microsoft have at the moment (granted, I should be saying that the 3rd party developers control the multiplayer co-op market.........PS4 and XB1 don't have any 1st party titles to stand up against anyway TBH).

I say at best they match Sony and M$ in the graphics department with their current gen systems but Nintendo has their first party titles as an advantage. If Zelda is launch, Nintendo will move 20 mil units in the first 6 months. Don't let them **** around and have Mario at launch or first month release either. That type of hype had the Wii impossible to catch up to during the seventh gen console race

That was the greatest mess-up of the Wii-U launch too...................a damn Luigi game at the launch instead of giving us Smash Bros. and/or Zelda at launch.  That was a joke, and the Wii-U paid for it dearly.

Hell, the first Wii system had Smash Bros. as a launch title (not first month release, but it was part of the 6-month launch title cycle)..........and look at how that helped the Wii thrive.  Not to mention we had Super Mario Galaxy at launch from the start of the Wii, and that is regarded as one of the top 5 Mario games of all time

People forget how awesome the original Wii really was at the time. It was a game-changer. I still like the Wii-U. I see it as an upgrade to my old Wii, even though its selection of games never lived up to its potential. I still play Wii and Wii U games on it.

Both Mario Galaxy and Smash came like a year after wii dropped if I remember correctly.

The wii was an anomaly though. It didn't need that killer first party title at launch to move units. All it needed was wii sports. It was a wrap after people saw the demonstrations

No way in hell is the Switch selling 20M in the first 6 months. It doesn't matter what games they launch with it
