This just gets better by the day. From IGN:
Nintendo won't let you use a microSD card on multiple Switch systems.
Trying to transfer a microSD card from one Nintendo Switch to another will bring up a warning, according to Polygon. The message says:
"The microSD card is being used by another Nintendo Switch console or was used on this console before it was initialized. Delete the Nintendo Switch data on the microSD card to use it on this console.
Save data, screenshots, and other data not related to Nintendo Switch won’t be deleted. You can remove the microSD card if you don’t want to use it on this console."
This means you can't carry over game downloads to a new system. And it further reinforces that currently game save data is tied to a single Nintendo Switch, especially since it's stored internally.

A little off topic, but has anyone picked up the Hyrule Historia or Art & Artifacts books for The Legend of Zelda? I've been wanting to scoop them up and most people seem to agree that they're great for fans of Zelda, but I was trying to see if anyone here has them and can provide their thoughts on them.

@mikejs210 I have the Hyrule Historia art book and it's awesome. Lots of great content. It's got a bit more content for Skyward Sword than the other games, but if you're a Zelda fan, it's a must have.

Just tried mine out. Pretty cool. It's like a call of duty drop. haha. Got tons of fish and food and a upgraded bow.
Still slapping myself for looking at a walk through yesterday. I was dead tired and shoulda just went to sleep. I'm mad because I feel like I ruined the experience for myself forever. Now whenever I replay the game I'll know how to do the part based on reading the walk through. Sucks bros.
Also! When I was at the BB release they had all red joycons for sale. Shoulda copped one had I known they would be sold out everywhere rn!

Is BOTW really worth paying $400+? This is a serious question. I do most of my gaming on the PS4 and just picked up Horizon which is bonkers but creeping up on all these comments, seems like this game is great as well.
For those that have copped, if you had to do it all over, is the game worth the cop on release day or could it have been something you could've waited for?

Im not a Zelda fan and never have been, truth be told I only bought this game because the other options were cheese. I am actually starting to really enjoy it, I was kind of iffy at first but defeating some of the bosses is pretty satisfying plus its like Red Dead or GTA where you can kill a ton of time doing side quests of nothing at all like hunting or cooking. I wish there was more incentive for certain things but I can look past it. I would cop if you like Zelda/open world adventures.

I'm not surprise at all by Nintendo's policy on transferring data. After all, it's just a tablet. I'm sure the policy is due to downloadable games being copied and pirated, just like paid apps. I'm sure there are going to be files just like .apks when someone figures it out ...
Only thing is that you should have a cloud account where you can DL games you already purchases and or game save data.
