You rarely see any Nintendo first party games go on sale, especially Pokemon. In fact, if you go to GameStop you'll see older used Pokemon games have inflated prices of $55

its crazy how we have new releases for other systems drop in price within a month yet Nintendos hold value after almost a year on the market.

I finally found a copy of Smash bros Melee for a nice price

The seller also has a gamecube for sell and I am tempted to get it too

Does anyone know if Melee runs well on the reguler Wii (I own one) or should I just buy the gamecube as well?

The Pokemon Company has announced its 2014 brand licensing results through License! Global. In terms of retail sales, they were able to generate $2 billion of licensed products worldwide. Along with the Pokemon video games, other elements such as the anime and trading card game are included in that amount.
