No line.

I showed up half an hour before my GameStop opened and by the time the store opened there was probably only 10 out of the 31 that were gone within' the first 10 minutes of opening. The console with the neon Joycons seems to be really limited though. Only 5 of the 31 had them

Considering all the complaining about the reveal last night I wasn't sure if it would sell out. People were really on the fence.

I think people still are. Nintendo probably doesn't have many units shipping at launch. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of these pre-orders were cancelled.

Got to gamestop and immediately changed my mind...I think I'll go ahead and wait it out.

Way back in October Nintendo President said initial launch would be $2 million worldwide. Who knows how many of those were allotted to US vendors. But Best Buy, Target, and Game Stop are all official partners so I'm fairly certain if you ordered from them you'll be guaranteed a system. Last night they charged my account the full price +tax.

I don't think Amazon and Wal-Mart pre-orders are guaranteed becasue they charge when they ship. We'll have to wait and see.

I was so hyped to buy this DAY ONE when they showed that Super Mario Odyssey trailer............then this was announced this morning.

UGHH........I guess I'll have to pass on March 3rd.  MAYYYBBEE, I might cop it in late April when MK8 Deluxe comes out (and after I buy my Royal 1s)

^ true. Breath of the Wild and that new Mario game are really the only reason I copped. Any other games I might end up getting are just a plus.

I wanted the neon one but Gamestop just reupped on the grey one so I just copped.

Oddly enough I had no issue pre-ordering my PS4 or PS4 Pro from Amazon yet Nintendo products are always difficult to pre-order.

I'm seriously leaning toward cancelling my pre-order. System is going to be a paper wait once I get done with Zelda. Plus when you factor in the cost of the accessories I'm looking at $500 for System, Zelda, and Pro controller.

@forerunn If I didn't have almost $100 in Amazon gc, I'd probably pass on day 1.

Eventually the Switch is gonna be $250 or less, read somewhere that for Nintendo to make a profit they'd have to charge at least $300. At $250 they'd break even. Not sure how accurate that is but it makes sense for them to markup the price at launch.

Capcom is trolling so hard tryna sell us on ultra SF 2 like it isn't just an almost 10 year old port of HD remix. I was playing HD remix HEAVY in '08. I was ranked top 100 in the world. Regardless, capcom will forever get my money with anything Street Fighter related. Just bought both season passes for Street Fighter 5 :x

I'm almost 100% sure the Switch will get Marvel vs. Capcom infinite now...

Man I wonder if Nintendo was keeping devs from developing for Switch. I am Setsuna, Skyrim (not even the SE that just released), Ultra SF2 and Minecraft are games that have been out for years. How are they not launch titles?

Cheaper development costs. Less financial risk if the game bombs.

I'm going to pass on launch until maybe a themed Zelda one comes out. I have the Zelda themed 3DS's and WiiU .

Plus I start school in April and need to prep before then, I won't have time I play at all anyway

Very excited for these games nintendo once again has reinvented itself and im glad they stuck with kid friendly games because theres plenty of adult games out and this system brings back the fun and balance needed
