Not sure if this is an option for you, but if you crap out on your local retailers, I saw that Amazon Prime will have some available on Friday for delivery.  How many they'll have is unknown to me and I believe it's specific to your area as well.

Damn that's weird for Amazon to be delivering late. Are you a Prime member? Maybe you missed out on the first allocation and they're anticipating extra stock to arrive after RD. My BOTW pre-order from Amazon still says Arriving Friday. Fingers crossed.

Just got rid of my last few Wii U games with GameStop's 50% bonus promo. Put that towards 1,2 Switch and the rest went to the console balance.

My launch is gonna be:

Red/Blue Neon Console
Zelda: BOTW
1,2 Switch
Snipperclips
Pro Controller
Screen Protector

Thanks for this post, after reading this, I gathered all my Wii U games (all 20 of them) put them in my backpack and went to Gamestop. I calculated the amount I'd get off of their website and it said about 184 bucks so I was hyped, I went there with the intentions of getting Zelda and the joycon charger grip.
Turns out, that with the promotion going on, I ended up getting $279.15 worth of trade in lmao!

I pre ordered Zelda and SnipperClips and was told to try and come in on launch day and they might have pro controllers cause they didn't have any there to pre order.

I'm glad to see so many people so hyped for the Switch, but I think a lot of people are gonna regret selling their Wii U. They are already hard to find and the games are already going for high prices. Hell Bayonetta 2 with the first game included is going for $70

I'm gonna walk over to Gamestop tomorrow and see if they'll have any Pro Controllers on RD. Maybe try to finesse them into holding one for me .

Yep, people are already doing that for the Gamecube. When the system was out everyone bashed it and called it a kiddy lunchbox. Now years later so many people say it was a dope system. People so upset Nintendo has not released the Gamecube VC. Hell, Eternal Darkness is going for well over $100

As for the Switch launch, I agree, it's very solid. At first it was looking shaky, but seeing how Zelda and Bomberman are selling out has eased my concerns.
Zelda is the biggest game this year so it makes sense to release smaller casual games with it at launch (i.e. 1-2 Switch, SnipperClips). Nintendo would be cannibalizing their sales if they released other big titles at launch.Plus the indie games are perfect filler until the next big game drops. It's even getting mobile games... Nintendo isn't playing around.

The diversity of games is what will sell this system after the initial hype fades. That is what was missing with the Wii U. After launch there was NOTHING until damn near a year later.

I mean look at these games... Pure 16 bit crack that can be played anywhere bruh.

Was planning on copping both BotW and HZD, but definitely gonna hold out now on HZD because it looks like Zelda will be getting the most of my gaming for the next few months.

I normally play my Zeldas along with a walkthrough or guide. Don't think I'm gonna do that with BOTW. Gonna try to 100% it but I know I'm gonna miss a ton of stuff and it'll give me an incentive to play through it again .

I saw this earlier, and for me this is an absolute must have. The first Blaster Master was one of the greatest ever NES games, and was one of my jams in early 1989.

So for launch I was able to get all this set up:

I have yet to order the Zelda Strategy Guide but I plan on that probably by tonight.

Finally, I'll have I Am Setsuna and Blaster Master 0 downloaded within the first 6 days.

The only thing I'd change is Zelda if a Zelda Master Edition somehow becomes available. But I have my doubts. My GS isn't getting any Master Editions at all.

Between all this and the copy of Torment: Tides of Numenera for PS4 that I ordered yesterday, I think I'm set for the next few months. LOL.

I don't plan on copping for a lil while but where I work (Best Buy) we got over 140 consoles in last week, mostly grey, and tons of accessories so far. I checked one out because there's no seal on the console box. It's pretty dam thin and the colored JoyCons are crazy bright. Shipments are way better than like 6-12 NES Classics showing up at a time

Traded in my Wii U and stuff and got back a couple hundred, paid off BotW too. All the accessories were sold out though. I just wanted one of those carrying cases.

They also had 2 extra Pros that were unaccounted for so I'm gonna try and call on Thursday morning and put one on hold [emoji]128064[/emoji]
