^What's the deal with the XBOX leage pass? They got everything in HD? Do they have League Pass for PS3? I have an XBOX but its the basic one with no memory space, can I still get it with that?
 
RIP to HOF announcer Jim Durham. Any old heads will remember him from the first several years of Jordan's Bulls. He made some iconic Jordan calls.

Jim Durham, ESPN's lead radio play-by-play voice on the NBA and a former broadcaster for the Chicago Bulls and Dallas Mavericks, died Sunday at his home in Tomball, Texas (outside Houston). He was 65. No cause of death was announced.

Durham had called NBA games on ESPN Radio since 1996. His final assignment alongside his longtime partner, Dr. Jack Ramsay, was Tuesday night's season opener between Boston and Miami.

Durham was the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame's Curt Gowdy Media Award winner in 2011.

In addition to his ESPN duties, Durham was the radio and television voice of the Bulls from 1973-91, including the first seven seasons of Michael Jordan's tenure with the team. His final season with the Bulls coincided with the team's first championship.

"The voice of champions," Jordan texted to ESPNChicago.com's Melissa Isaacson. "I will miss him."

Durham also called Chicago White Sox games on TV in 1989-90 and was the TV voice of the Houston Astros from 1983-85. He was the TV voice of the Mavericks from 1993-2001. In his career, he worked for NBC, CBS and Turner Sports in addition to ESPN.

Durham was the Illinois Sportscaster of the Year in 1979, 1989 and 1990 and won two Chicago Emmy awards.

"Jim was a respected play-by-play specialist who combined a tremendous gift for storytelling with a Hall of Fame voice," said Mo Davenport, ESPN Radio's senior vice president and general manager. "He's been a dedicated friend and a trusted teammate to so many at ESPN for two decades, and he will be greatly missed."

"Jim was an extraordinary professional," said John Martin, ESPN executive producer, radio remotes, who frequently worked on-site with Durham. "His talent for calling NBA on radio in vivid, descriptive terms was unmatched. When JD was so deservedly recognized with the Gowdy Award, he had the Hall of Fame career to go along with his long-established position as a Hall of Fame person. He was a sensational individual."

Durham is survived by his wife, Helen, their three children, Patrick, Richard and Tracy, and several grandchildren.

Yup all HD. The APP is only like 48MB so you should be fine with the standard XBOX HD. Not sure if they have it for PS3

The jury's still out on how the changes affect OKC.

Kevin Martin (I REFUSE to call him K-MART) can replicate Harden's spot-up shooting, but that's about it. He can't attack the rim as well as Harden (though he's decent at it), and he can't be the playmaker that Harden often was.

Will it hurt OKC that they gave those things up? Too early to tell.
 
Harden's play creating is what Martin can't do, but maybe Maynor can. I dunno.

I still think this move was moreso for the future and not for this year. Maybe I'm wrong.

Maynor's pick and roll with Collison off the bench will replace that play making ability of Harden's.
 
Still no one wants to bring up the fact that Kevin Martin is a free agent after this year, and I don't think he'll be cheap.

Yall haven't seen Maynor THIS YEAR. He is buns, very close to getting replaced by Reggie Jackson, who is also buns. He looked his best when he had PJ3 with him in that second unit finding him for lobs and random cuts, but Brooks doesn't play the rookies so there will be none of that. Just him trying and failing to get passed his man and occassionally doing so after multiple screens and rescreens and hitting a floater. It doesn't help that the 2nd unit he plays in features Kevin Martin as the only scorer. And no, his pick and roll and 2 man game with Collison is nowhere near as devistating as Harden's. That is why our starting lineup needs to change so badly, last yr we could always count on our bench unit lead by Harden to make up the deficits the starters create by outplaying the other team's subs, then when the starters (Durant, Westbrook, and Ibaka) came back in and James stayed with them, you had one of the most efficient offensive units in the NBA. That isn't the case anymore, so I think we need to get Kevin Martin right into the starting lineup and get our best foot out this right off jump. Teams' opposing coaches aren't going to sleep every night trying to figure out how they're going to contain Eric Maynor.

And we still haven't solved any of the problems from last yr and yr's past. All that, "they shoot too many jumpers, they don't get enough assists" stuff is nonsense though. We smashed on teams with those things as their strengths last yr, rather easily in fact. Now if the narrative was about, "they only have 1 play, KD doesn't always get open fast enough and gets the ball too late in the clock or not at all and leaves Russ with a ticking time bomb at the top of the key, Perk is stealing 9 million dollars and moves like he has cement shoes on," then I'd agree.

Westbrook's negative, at times, impact has been more than well chronicled. He did, however, start last season the exact same way, maybe worst. He was like 5 tos and shooting 31% for a while.

I see us as a second round team right now. We should win the division easily, so top 4 seed and homecourt. With no James, every W or L is going to rest solely on how well Westbrook plays and if he is "good Russ" or "bad Russ." And KD wants to be LeBron all of a sudden, don't know what's going on there. Grab some more defensive rebounds sure, I ain't mad, but quit passing up shots to try to pass Perkins and Collison the ball so they can fumble it out of bounds.

Martin is absolutely killing right now, but he's just not as fun to root for as James was. As for our rookies, I have no doubt both of them will be good, in fact they are right now. It might not be in a Thunder jersey though. I don't doubt at all that if the trade is never made and Lamb is starting at the 2 in Houston, he'd be at least 18ppg.

JA, he has played on a 50 win team ONCE. I think he'll take a nice contract (3/24 at most) to stay. All the open shots he is getting and playing against 2nd unit guys and the other team's 3rd best perimeter defender, he has to be loving life. Dude is shooting 70% on 3s right now, most of which are assisted and him being wide open off KD and Russ's attention drawn from the d.

If he has a great year, he could get demand from another team though.

If he had a choice between a 24 million contract, and a 40 million dollar contract, what do you think he chooses?

And that's the James Harden crux. Russ could be that "Bad Russ," yet Harden could still keep everyone involved and they could still win games.

It's early, and there's plenty of time to gel with Martin, and he could bounce back the way he did last year, and be better, but we'll see.

I'm just worried about these turnovers. I can't remember the last superstar that turned it over as much as Kevin Durant does. For a guard? A PG? Cool, whatever. But Kevin has had a knack of turning the ball over on the same kind of mistakes that Russ does. Careless passes, trying to be too flashy, or just not confident with the ball at times. 7-8 turnovers a game, that's a lot for two guys man.

Russ shooting 38%, doesn't have a steal or block yet this year. Former, not that surprising. Latter, surprising.

I think Lamb delivers, great environment for him, and he has the talent. If Perry Jones amounts to something, its an added bonus, considering where they drafted him.

Cole Aldrich not amounting to **** had to have hurt, considering the rotating cast of characters at that position.

Did Brooks even watch Summer League?

As far as Maynor, I don't think he trusts his knee fully yet,

and he's so out of rhythm is upsetting.

Lastly, I miss pre-season Ibaka.

Homie don't need to be hanging out with Keri Hilson,

her mediocrity has to be contagious.

Awesome stat line from Martin tho yesterday, 28 points, 1 board, 1 steal, nothing else. It's like he avoids the ball other than when it's time to shoot. :lol:

Kid can shoot with his eyes closed tho. :pimp: No question about that. But Harden filled the sheet up all around, Martin has never been that.
