But the only reason I considered Rivers is because thats literally the only thing he brings to the team. It could easily be EG, Ryan Anderson, AD then Rivers...but that doesnt change the fact that AD is going to draw alot of tough matchups, especially looking at their schedule for the 1st couple months of the season..
.If you think AD is moving Glen Davis/Al Jefferson/Joakim Noah off the block, then idk what to tell you
If you think moving Glen Davis or Noah off the block is important in the grand scheme of things, I don't know what to tell you.
Guarding Glen Davis is NOT why AD was the number 1 pick. Tyson Chandler isn't one of the best defenders in the league because of his post defense. With double teams and the lack of true back to the basket players, it's not that important of a skill. What's way more important is having a guy that can contest (without fouling, more important than blocks) every shot at the rim (covering after the perimeter guys get beat), effectively guard the pick and roll (and recover), and rebound. It's what all the elite bigmen defenders can do at a high life (KG, Tyson, Dwight) and it's what makes AD special.
