I know Kyrie is the flavor of the month on NT, but the disrespect BJ gets is crazy.
It's disrespect saying that Jennings is an inferior offensive player to a guy who's outperforming him in almost every major offensive category?

how about this

the year before Jennings was drafted, the Bucks had a record of 34-48 (last in the division, 12th in the conference)

The year Jennings was drafted, the Bucks had a record of 46-36 (second in the division behind Lebrons Cavs, and 6th in the conference

Well, yeah. Bogut only played 36 games out of 82 the year before Jennings was drafted and Redd, their leading scorer, blew his knee out and only played 33 games.

So their 2 best players both didn't even play half the games in that season. And before you bring up the year before that, they only had 4 players worth a damn & their coach was garbage. You probably can't even tell me who the coach was without looking.

Then next year they draft Jennings (which moved Ridnor to the bench, making them a deeper squad), get a healthy Bogut back, AND acquire Salmons at the trade deadline. If you remember, Salmons was playing great around that time, around 20 a night on solid efficiency.

They also hired Skiles the year before & this was his first season where he had his defensive anchor (Bogut) for most of the season. The Bucks were stout defensively because of it.

You acting like Jennings was the only factor in that turnaround.

Andrew Bogut was there the year before too (when they only won 34 games), so yeah you're probably wrong.

Nah, not really. Bogut alone led them to 34 but adding BJ to begin the year & Salmons @ the end helped them over the last 3rd of the season. After he got traded there they went on a crazy tear to finish the season. Same exact thing he did w/ Chicago the year before. But being that these facts aren't in line w/ your opinion you probably conveniently ignored it. No worries.

my opinion that Brandon Jennings has helped the Bucks win more than Kyrie Irving has? And people are really using Andrew Bogut as an arguing point, as though Kyrie didnt have Varejao

how much has Kyrie improved the record of the Cavs?

in 2010-2011 the year before he was drafted, 19-61 (last in the division)

The year he was drafted, 21-45 (still last in the division)

I dont want to turn this into Kyrie vs BJ, bc thats really not my intention, but to call Jennings "terrible" lets me know that people dont really watch the games. These are probably the same guys who said Paul George sucked before they watched a Pacer game this season

Are you sure? because you are trying very hard to do exactly that.

I'm not saying BJ is bad. He's a good player. However, there should be no question as to who is a more efficient scorer between the two. Numbers don't lie.

And you really think BJ was the sole reason that Bucks went from 34 win team to 46 win team? Get real.

I know Kyrie is the flavor of the month on NT, but the disrespect BJ gets is crazy. I guess people are still bitter about him hanging 55 on the Warriors as a rookie :rolleyes

I would take BJ on the Pacers any day

second thing

This is definitely a misnomer about Kyrie not assisting the basketball, he averages 5.7 assists for the year, and 5.5 for his career. Neither number is stellar, but its not horrible either.

No one is 'bitter'. It's just that that one game is still far and away the highlight of Jennings' career to date.

55 points would be the highlight of 99% of the leagues careers lol. I was obviously joking about the bitterness part, but since that game dude has definitely been a VERY good player in my opinion. I dont think Jennings is a superstar, lets be clear, but his game definitely deserve some respect IMO

comparing Jennings to Irving?

Jennings is terrible, Jennings couldnt lick the bottom of Kyries nikes.

get the hell outta here.

everyone is terrible to you.

Not Irving, and btw i used to hate on Irving. Kid is a real deal.

Jennings, not so much. Just because he scored 55 hes good?

i said it yesterday, Tony Delk scoring 53

Charlie V dropped 50 or something before too

1 game means nothing

yeah BJ will always be my dude, but Kyrie is simply a better basketball player all around.

Yeah, I do wish he'd met the promise of that game though. I mean if you're a scoring PG you better be superstar level if you're going to make your team a contender.

Right. Because a healthy Bogut = a Heathy Varajeao. And still ignoring the fact that the Bucks were out of the playoffs until Salmons got there.

You got it Cheif :smokin

Westbrook and Bledsoe could have been on the same team. Presti actually selected Bledsoe #18 but then traded him to the Clippers because he decided we needed a veteran instead and we went out and signed Royal Ivey. Oops, nobody's perfect
