Kevin Martin leading scorer for OKC :pimp: :pimp:... How did that happen? Durant and Westbrook just let him shoot? Cause his statline was 28/1/1

He is wet (70% from 3, inclluding 6 of 8 last now, right now and 53% from the field) and ALWAYS open off just a basic swing pass. Then we stole KD's pindown and curl sets and let Kevin Martin run them and he arguably does it better because he doesn't have trouble getting space from his defender. And yes, KD was a bit too passive last night. He did finish with 9 assists, but I would have liked him to take over scoring in the 4th.

Martin had 22 in the first half on 6/7, but Brooks being the genius he is benched him the whole 3rd quarter minus the last minute.Plus Westbrook gon' Westbrook, he did fnish with 9 assists but had a number of questionable shots and 2 turnovers in a row later for no reason

It was hard watching him last night, he was obviously struggling on BOTH ends of the floor :smh:

Damn, and I was gonna ask how we was doing this season too.

How's he lookin though? Was it just last night that he struggled or has it been a season long thing (provided the NBA only played like 3-5 games so far.)?

Season long lol

He had 10/5/6 in the first game of the season with one turnover. He didn't shoot well, but he contributed.

Robert Pera and the new CEO Jason Levien were introduced today :pimp:

I got a chance to go to the press conference and both guys seem cool as hell  . The sense I get is that Chris Wallace will not be in Memphis for long. Levien really likes Hollins and I think he will end up getting his extension.

Pera seems most focused on the branding and marketing of the team, and is preaching a greater presence in the community.

Home opener tonight :pimp:

Because Levien seems like he wants to be more in control of player evaluation, trading and drafting. He didn't really even bring up Wallace and he also didn't talk about the Barones much either, so I will expect them to be out as well. Also, Pera trusts him more when it comes to that type of stuff, so I don't think Wallace will be here.

Hey_

Ibaka is smangin' Keri Hilson?

Julius F. Wrek

Confirmed. It is interesting because KD has never been shy expressing his adoration for her, don't know if he ever officially got the drawz but they used to flirt on Twitter incessantly. It's TMZ **** I know, but given what happened with James and the finals, and of course the JJJ Mavs, it could have a real affect.

Ibaka is the man, that fake twitter account, smashing Keri Hilson, making big money! im jealous :smh:

Re-watching the Hawks-Thunder game from last night, Zaza really thought he was Sabonis with the no look over the head pass.

Edit:

Jeff Teague laughing at Ibaka after dunking by him:

Is tonight the last night of League Pass free preview?

Still on the fence but have really enjoyed it thus far.

It runs your life man. Serious, everynight you wanna do somethin, oh damn, but Thunder-Wolves is on tonight, oh and Knicks-Mavs too, damn......

NFL ticket is one day a week, NBA is every single night for 6 months.

A lot of people overlooked K-Mart in the harden deal. He does have his flaws, but he is a scorer. He will produce nice numbers coming off the bench for them.

Maybe not as nice as Harden, but good enough to compete the way they did last season.

I know this is an NBA thread, but Euroleague dunk of the night belongs to one of CSUF's finest...Bobby Brown.

Brought this up a couple times this week now.

Sure, he may allow them to contend, but what if Russ isn't as good this year since he doesn't have Harden?

And most importantly, what if Martin doesn't re-sign after this year? And if he does, what is his asking price? It won't be as much as Hardens offer from the Thunder, but if it's close it makes you think. Any extension they make will tie them up financially.

If Lamb takes his place next year, you're taking another step backwards, and grapes may sour in OKC.

Nothing is a given right now for them. They still lack interior scoring, they're still a perimeter team. The next few years will be fun to see how they pan out. Fizzle, or thrive.

They could be this generations Sacramento Kings.
