I was just thinking of how BAD their owner got ******* on by the home crowd shortly after the Monta/Bogut swap. Hindsight is 20/20 but I'm guessing they don't feel too bad about that deal now.

Fans are dumb often, why would you keep Monta when you have Curry?
 
Yall think this warriors squad is better or as good as that warriors squad that beat the mavs with BD, Barnes, etc etc?

It's close but I like that 07 squad better.
 
Warriors always had a decent team. Just never lived up to potential, never really healthy and the west has been tough

He just has to take on a huge scoring load when you had bums like Biedrins as your starting C. He has also expanded his 3 pt game. Giving up Udoh was hard, but at least we got Landry to fill the void.

Monta is a playmaker. Theres no question about that. I assume the bolded is in response to him being a great passer. While I agree with you that he isnt a great passer, neither is Stephen Curry. In recent times, we have seen a ton of score first/slasher/drive-and-kick-out type point guards have a ton of success in this league. Russell Westbrook and Derrick Rose (when healthy) are in pretty much everyone's top 5 PG lists, and neither of those guys are pass first point guards.

When looking at JUST distributing the ball and running the offense, there is no reason to think that Monta couldnt have been as good if not better than Steph.

 what?? When has Curry EVER hit a game winner, let alone some clutch shots? Dudes are hella overrating steph here now i swear. I like the guy but he is no clutch player.

Edit: Monta seems to always get overlooked i see.

Then when we REALLY need him to score when we're in a slump and the game is close, he doesn't do it. No clutch bone in his body. Everyone wants to give Steph the credit for the Dubs being back in the playoffs but it's really more so because we have much better depth this year.

I STILL believe Monta is the better player and could've gotten us to the playoffs with this same team. Just my opinion so you Steph Curry fans don't get all crazy.

Monta can be the starting SG for a VERY good team. Dude is so money. He has the driving ability of Wade, with the midrange game of someone like Dirk. I'm a huge Monta guy. If this guy was put on a winning team? YIKES...

Trading him IMO is the wrong move. You build around him, not Curry.

If I didnt know any better, I would swear Kosta Koufos was mentally ******ed.  I mean seriously.  He has the look of an adult with an IQ of 55.

They definitely DID not have a decent team after they split up the "We Believe" team from 07. Their rosters after that have been poor up until this season. The subtraction of Ellis, addition of Bogut, Lee, and Jack have made a TREMENDOUS difference.

07 was just crazy, even seeing the series from home i saw how live they got at home and the team to me was better

But in terms of excitment i really cant decide steph going off has me goin nuts

Naw i heard bust. Wasn't he hurt for a while? He was getting that greg oden treatment cat's calling him a bust because he was out so long.

Anyway the dude looks legit to me so it doesn't matter.
