Lets be fair though, what's 200k to Kobe? If she's that petty give her the dough. Clearly she needs it to sell her son's stuff

Its the principle behind it.

You dont know the family situation to say she "clearly needs it"

There's a real chance the Bulls will play Saturday's do-or-die Game 7 in Brooklyn without Luol Deng and Kirk Hinrich. And, of course, Derrick Rose remains out following offseason knee surgery.

Deng Friday posted a series of tweets to explain his condition:

"It really upsets me that everyone thinks I would miss a game bc of the flu. I've played a lot of games w the flu in my career."

"On Wed I was taken to the ER and my symptoms indicated I may have meningitis."

"As a result of the spinal tap I suffered the worst headache I've ever experienced and been the weakest I've ever felt."

"Now I'm back in the ER where I may have to spend the night... I want my teammates and Bulls fans to know I would NEVER miss a game bc of flu."

"If I'm medically cleared I will fly to NY to be with my team and try to win game 7."

I remember reading an article that spoke about how George Karl waited for the SuperSonics to be down 3-0 in the '96 Finals to put Payton on MJ. Once he made the decision to do so, the Sonics won the next two games and MJ finished the series shooting terribly. But that 3-0 deficit was too much.

Only George Karl has one of the best defensive guards of all time on his squad and doesn't put him on the best player of all time until the series is lost

GP was actually talking about this in an interview, he said that he went to George & TOLD him he was guarding him he didn't care what he said anymore and George conceded. Sad. :smh:

And GP didn't Spree him after?

Nah **** that...he gave his parents MILLIONS throughout his career so this goes beyond her needing the money. He offered to pay $250k for a crib, she wanted $450k for a bigger one. The memorabilia will easily fetch her WAY more than what she's asking for so this is clearly being done out of spite/greed.

Good for him to not enable that behavior any longer. Your own mother on some bull ****...

iggy is a flat out better player then allen. you know good and damn well someone is going to give him 10 million or more dont matter what the CBA is
Iggy ain't getting $10 mill on the open market bruh.

All these Bulls players playing with injuries, illnesses, making public statements about how they would never miss games because of some flu. Showing a bunch of heart.

This is just fueling the Derrick Rose debate. It's becoming more of a PR nightmare for him without the Bulls or Rose trying to make it one. Irony.

Congrats to GS and their fans. GK is extremely stubborn which makes the Nuggets easy to game plan against in a 7 game series. As I mentioned in the Nuggets' season thread, GK has always whined to management that the reasons the team couldn't get out of the first round were: 1. Melo is a ballhog that jacks up bad shots and doesn't care about winning; 2.He needs a team devoid of stars that will listen to him; 3. It's JR's fault; and 4. They need home court. The thing I hope is that maybe management will finally see that the one common denominator in most of those playoff exits is that GK was the coach.

Iggy can be great offensive player on a semi-decent team, like the Raptors or go to a team like the Celtics that can use him.

Always liked his game but he is too inconsistent.

I think one of the articles mentioned that he already bought them 2 cribs too

The Raptors already have two overrated wings who are still better offensively than Iguodala.

somebody is gonna give him 9-11 a year. a gm, cap room, and a small market team is a bad combo.

What if Rose decides to play and they STILL lose

Its gonna be a lose lose situation if he plays or doesnt play either way

If they lose with him people gonna say he messed up the chemistry and shoulda came back earlier

If they lose with out him they gonna say ur whole team is hurt and sick and fighting while you healthy on the bench

Why no one answered my question about WHO will give Iguodala $10M?

There is really no team that makes much sense this offseason. Detroit may possibly give him the money, but I'm expecting them to make a run at OJ.

with your half kings half laker jersey right?
laugh.gif

oh so now you aint no laker fan now that the kings are staying? aight i see how it is

I said that from the get go tho

and I wouldn't have been a fan for the right reasons.... it would have been my way of showing that loyalty and non-bandwagonism doesn't mean a damn.... which coincidentally/ironically is why___________________________ (finish the sentence however you'd like)
