Is it me or the Knicks don't really play team ball? It seems like its just two guys jacking up shots. I don't follow the knicks, but when point guard has like 2 or three assists, something is off.
Earlier in the season when they were crushing everyone the offense was beautiful. Now it has devolved into how Woodson had the Hawks playing.

definitely not crazy, Bulls still in flow. Heat been sitting for a while. Plus Heat want a challenge, so they will probably come out flat.

Rose was the MVP in 2011. Live with it. he was undisputed leader of team with best regaular season record.

Who really cares about one vote? LeBron rightfully won. anyone making a mountain outta mole hill needs to refocus their energy.
thats whats up.. Rose well deserved the mvp in '11 without a doubt.

lebron fans keep crying.

good call on the heat rest. it could work in their favor to our run the bulls who are obviously on one leg right now, but they may come with more intensity.

I don't think so. If this playoffs have proven anything its that you have to take care of business as early as possible because the longer a series goes, the more chances there are for an injury. I think the Heat will come out motivated. Plus, they're going to remember it was the Bulls that ended their streak.

Sheesh.

Rose was the man that year.. all I was saying is that he could've easily gotten the award the past 5 years ... it doesn't matter tho.. 4 outta 5 is still unreal. Proceed Bull fans.. wish y'all were 100% healthy..

They swung the ball with consistency at the time, now it's isolation ball. Beginning of the year, I saw them as a legitimate threat, but when things get tough..Woodson shows why he didn't last in ATL.

Tonight's the night :smokin

come on player, if rose was the man that year he couldn't have gotten it 5 straight easily.

no dobut 4/5 is still remarkable.

odom , kobe , gasol, bynum, ariza/artest, brown, fisher were d-leagers ?

outside of the big 3 everybody on that heat roster could of got cut , ud was/is garbage, battier struggled all season, mike miller was auditioning for the mummy part 5, and chalmers was god for a decent game twice a month. but they did come on in the finals

So the Bulls took 7 games to be a pretty marginal Nets team, are super banged up, but yet somehow now have a chance to beat the Heat? That Bulls team is as gritty as they come, but come on now. Miami is a whole different beast than the Nets.

He's essentially saying he voted for Carmelo because he was tired of LeBron winning.

Either way dude should not be allowed to vote next year :smh:

Lebron will keep winning the MVP even when his team is not the best team, or when his team does not have the best record, or even when he is not the best player in the league.

If people are gonna say dude has flawed logic go check how the logic is bent and twisted in order for Lebron to get MVP's with different types of criteria every time he gets it.

An example I posted in the other thread

2009 and 2010
Kobe is the best player on the best team and goes on the win the championship.
His team DOES NOT end up with the best record that year.

No MVP

2012

Lebron is the best player on the best team and goes on to win the championship.
His team does not end up with the best record that year.

MVP

Forgot to mention that the 2012 Heat is loaded compared to the 2009 or 2010 Lakers. The Heat makes those rosters look like NBDL level talent :x :smh:

I wouldn't say the 2009 and 2010 Lakers were D-Leauge in terms of talent but it was basically just Kobe and Gasol.

Odom was serviceable in stretches but what did he do before and after playing with Kobe Bryant? Nothing

Same with Ariza

The 2013 Miami Heat roster has more talent

yeah but we are talking the 2011-2012 heat team.

At that lakers team being NBDL, anything to make a point right

The bulls aren't beating the heat, stop it, they might steal one game, maybe. Need to get out of here with that nonsense.

Also my bad when I said before it was a NY sports writer than screwed Lebron, good to know it was a Boston writer trollin.

The Heat are the best team since the 2001 Lakers and the Bulls in 1996. (Sucks to say but it's true)

There hasn't been such a gap between the best player and the rest of the league since Jordan. Complete domination by LeBron James, it's absolutely 90's Jordan like. (That was also painful to say.)

Oh, no!!!  I'd have to say that Jordan's defense was definitely superior, tenacious and at a higher level than Lebron's.  In my view, Lebron hasn't really played defense like the way he use to in Cleveland. (That's my opinion)

This

and that.

One thing that doesn't get talked about is Jason Kidd being utterly useless for months yet Woodson still giving him too many minutes. He was great and a key contributor early on but once he had to carry more of the load when Felton got hurt it all went to **** for him. He completely lost his 3 PT shot and knows it, hence why he passes it up every opportunity. He's not beating anyone off the dribble anymore. Probably hasn't made a layup since November. I'd be shocked if he plays again after this season.

EDIT: I should mention that Shumpert is finally picking up some of Kidd's minutes recently. Jason hasn't scored in the Knicks last 5 games...last time he had a point was Game 2 vs. Celtics. If we stretch that out even further, he's been held scoreless for 9 out of the last 16 games he's played. Averaged 26 minutes per game during that span.

Not saying LeBron is Jordan like, but the way you can compare LeBron now to the rest of the league is Jordan like. That's how much better he is than anyone else. That's what's Jordan like. It's 90s Jordan all over again.

I agree that in comparison Lebron is better than everyone else in the league which is "Jordan-Like", but people forget that KD isn't that far away. In this case, perception really isn't the reality.

I honestly believe that if that 22-game winning streak never happened, KD or CP3 would've had a legit shot at MVP. Lebrons team really makes him look a lot better.

To be fair, KD's team is pretty stacked too
