Only way that roster is a "fringe playoff team" (as in fighting for a last playoff spot) is if the coaching staff did a terrible job. I don't think you need to be a genius to figure out that with that group of players your best chance of success is to push the ball every time down the court.

For a team in its first year together and Deron Williams being injured the whole season til the final month, winning 49 games and being a half game behind the 3 seed wasn't too shabby.

This is the wrong year to applaud 45+ in the East, with what happened to the Bulls, Celtics, Sixers, Hawks and Wiz.

Even I'll admit, the Knicks at the 2-seed comes with an asterisk.

I'm really enjoying watching this Golden State team. They have definitely surprised me this round. I hope they knock the Spurs off.

i feel the same way sometimes. Great motivator, but sometimes i dont understand his rotations or X's & O's.

To use a 49ers analogy, Jackson reminds me of a Mike Singletary and we are still waiting on our Jim Harbaugh.
