I'd say Kwame's had a better career that Olowokandi. He's become a solid post defender and has managed to stay in the league for a while because of that. Can't say the same for the Kandi man.

2002: Jiri Welsch (Could have had Carlos Boozer, Tayshawn Prince)
2003: Mickael Pietrus (Could have had David West)
2004: Andris Biedrins (Could have had Josh Smith, Al Jefferson, JR Smith, Jameer Nelson)
2005: Ike Diogu (Could have had Andrew Bynum, Danny Granger, David Lee)
2006: Patrick O'Bryant (Could have had Rajon Rondo)
2007: Brandan Wright (Could have had Joakim Noah, Marc Gasol, Wilson Chandler, Rudy Fernandez, Rodney Stuckey, Aaron Brooks, Glen Davis)
2007: Marco Belinelli (Could have had Marc Gasol, Wilson Chandler, Rudy Fernandez, Rodney Stuckey, Aaron Brooks, Glen Davis)
2008: Anthony Randolph (Could have had Roy Hibbert, JaVale McGee, Serge Ibaka, DeAndre Jordan)
2009: Stephen Curry (Nailed it!)
2010: Ekpe Udoh (Could have had Greg Monroe, Paul George)


Then the Warriors were purchased. 

I know drafting is not an exact science and many teams passed on the players I listed that the Warriors could have had....but look at the list.  Look at how many swing and misses we have had with all of our lottery picks.  If you look at this list, there were 2, maybe 3, good picks since 1996.  That is unacceptable.  A child could do eeny meeny minee moe and pick more than 2/3 good players in 18 tries.

Todd Fuller pick still burns. lol. Just amazing how bad we were at drafting. Like you said, hindsight of course, but they would of had a better chance following a mock draft list rather than trying to do their own homework.

Crazy to think that the 96 (Todd Fuller, traded this pick then got it back), 98 (Vince Carter), 00 (Mike Miller traded) picks were sent to Orland in the Penny/C-Webb swap

I played PG for 14 years man, the game is a lot more mental than people think. Coach Jackson took Steph and made him believe that he was the best player in the gym regardless of who they're playing against. That's coaching man. That's management at its finest, he lets the boy cook. He took Steph skill set and put it in a system that allows him to be a scorer. And from Steph all the way down the Kent, every player on that team plays hard for Coach Jackson. Every player. Look at the spurs and Pop, look at the celtics and Doc, the bulls and coach Thib. I don't see u making excuses or low balling their successes as coaches.

Playing in the NBA is not just about confidence. There are more important factors like skill, physical ability and hard work Those players had that before he got there.

A great coach should be able to make lesser player perform better. He hasn't turned around any veterans. Curry,Lee,Jack, Landry and Bogut were all good players before they were coached by Jackson. I don't see him turning around Richard Jefferson or Biedrins careers :lol:

His strategy isn't winning them games, Alot the shots Curry and Thompson are hitting are just great individual efforts, If anything the Golden State GM should get the credit


I stand by my statement. Jackson is good coach but I'd take at least 8 coaches before him and he definitely should not have been the COY.

Didn't lebron earn that by becoming the best prospect in the nation so his mom got it for me and let them finance the hummer cause they knew what was coming with his career?. Do you know who Noah's parents are homie? Go look it up. Only thing Noah had to worry about growing up was if mommy and daddy were gonna buy him the shows he wanted.

but what the hell does that have to do with how he grew up

bron was getting $500 throwbacks thrown to him like sweat towels & had a damn hummer when his hs coach was prbly still driving a damn ford focus

what hard decisions has bron made aside form taking the easy way out & joining them team you claim youve been a fan of before "The Decision"

So what now lebron was born at the age 17? What happened to the ages 1-16? Was he given stuff their to? And I'm not saying you gotta grow up poor to be a tough guy. But Noah acts like he's mad at the world when's its impossible for him to hate the world when you grow up
