Tyson getting 1st team just further proves that these media folks don't watch games anywhere near as much as people on this forum

Nba is about reputation and anticipation more than any league out

And it DOES matter because now Tyson will feel justified in his play.

While your constant hatred and complaints about the NBA are appreciated, the coaches vote for All NBA defense, not the media.

Every superstar flops to get calls. even the praised kobe that some of you all worship flop. the only differnce is people LOVE to hate lebron and blow up everything he does. how come when these people flop theres no hate towards them?

Peep kobes right foot, and hardens left, I think it was just the way he fell, he slid as opposed to not land flat on his ***. Just like when bron got pushed by nazr, IMO that wasnt a flop but he definitely slid instead of landing flat on his ***.

Jumpman, if you're a SF Giants fan, don't read this response. you've been warned. (hey, 2002 shouldn't sting anymore, anyways)
actually, you know what? I can ride with that. I always remind people that even though I'm a fan of an elite team, I'm also a fan of a team that lacks a great history in the Angels.

and as long as you're still playing, you have a shot at the championship. Period. I mean... period.

and I remember what it was like in 2002 being all giddy every round and dreaming about possibly being in the championship. then we made it, and won the damn thing.

not going to happen for you guys, though.

angels can go to hell

dusty baker can go to hell

rob my ***** barry of a ring :smh:

that might be true but theres so many more vids on youtube of him flopping i just dont feel like putting em up. my only point is people blow up whatever he does cause people love to hate on him.

The Heat organization is constantly sending footage to the league office claiming their players are being taken advantage of.

Yet, this is the first year that D "I'm not a dirty player" Whistle received any kind of punishment from the league, the "best player in the multiverse" frequently resorts to flopping (with not the least bit of a warning),

one of their best defender is constantly taking "charges" when an offensive player has already left his feet, their best players are constantly in the refs face about calls and scarcely

receive techs (this post season is a compete aberration from the norm though)...

But every one else is babies.

Ok.

With the exception of Chris Paul, Kobe Bryant, James Harden, Blake Griffin, and Manu Ginobli, nobody flops as much LeBron James.

Edit: I didn't write this correctly. I meant to convey that LeBron James flops quite often, but we all know James, Manu, Blake, CP, flop slight more often.

Also people abhor LeBron's flopping because he's the "best player on the planet" and he resorts to flopping so damn frequently.

Even if you're a staunch Miami fan, you've got to :rolleyes when "the best player on the planet" flops.

ive already said that he flops and its stupid that he does. when they were talking about him denying that he dosent flop i said idk why he would deny it he obviously does. but how do you know the the heat constantly send in footage of their players being taken advantage of? do you have some inside source or something cause i find that really hard to believe.

imo both the KD swing thru and flopping are 'low' , some may call them b moves...

i dont think either are bball plays, and would like the nba to get SERIOUS about removing them....not just talk about it but actually enforce punishments...

same goes for james harden driving creating contact and getting the foul...i hate that play and the swing thru more than flopping honestly...

why should a shoote get rewarded for INITIATING the contact?? they shouldnt

You could easily get rid of all the extra crap in a year or two tops unless there are things in the CBA that I'm not aware of that prevent you from suspending players for some of the more subjective stuff

You just need to go all out hardcore. Then the players will adjust.

I've Sao dot before. Scarlett letter them. You get caught flopping a few times you are forced to wear a giant F on your jersey for 10 games. Shame them

I live in South Florida,

I believe it was when the streak ended or when D Whistle was suspended.

A Heat commentator made the remark that front office sends footage to the league because "they feel their players are being taken advantage of."

At @USATODAYsports: Milwaukee Bucks have met with Jerry Sloan about their coaching position - http://ow.ly/kZpF0

Jerry Sloan and the Ellis/Jennings back court. That'll be interesting.

In the wake of Dwyane Wade's suspension for kicking Charlotte Bobcats' Ramon Sessions in the groin, the Miami Heat took the unusual step of issuing a statement firing back at the league office on Friday.

The Heat said they disagreed with the suspension and further complained about how their players have been being treated by opposing teams recently. Wade, the Heat said, is one of the players the opposition "takes privileges with." They said they had "made their feelings known to the league office."

The Heat referred to Wade's 10-year record as being "an exemplary player and positive influence" in their dispute of the ruling. The league does not typically explain disciplinary decisions but has reviewed several Wade fouls and actions over the last few seasons without taking further action.

Wade, who will serve his suspension Friday against the Detroit Pistons, said the kick to Sessions was inadvertent.

"It was a bang-bang play, man," Wade told reporters Friday morning. "It's a play you kind of have to be there. It was something that was looked at over video review and it can be taken any kind of way."

Sessions said Friday that he had not heard from Wade since the game but did not harbor any ill feelings.

"They looked at the film and saw what everybody else saw," Sessions said. "It was a kick to the groin, there was no secret about it. Things like that happen in the battle of a game."

Bobcats coach Mike Dunlap said he felt the league would come down on Wade.

"When we looked at the film it was obvious they had to do something," Dunlap said. "Dwyane is a class human being, he represents the league at the highest level ... but there's no place for that."

Heat coach Erik Spoelstra implied the Heat's stars are being targeted by opposing teams. During the game Wednesday in Charlotte, Bobcats forward Gerald Henderson fouled LeBron James hard.

"That was a very physical game; there were a lot of hard hits in that game," Spoelstra told reporters in Detroit. "What we're getting tired of as an organization are the hits, particularly to Dwyane and LeBron and Chris (Bosh). That is the game plan against us."
...

Miami Heat statement after suspension:
“While we accept the decision of the NBA regarding Dwyane Wade, we do not agree with it. In his 10 years in the league, Dwyane has never been suspended, and has been an exemplary player and positive influence to his teammates and fans and we have been honored to have him as part of the Miami Heat family.

Unfortunately, he is the type of player, along with other players on our roster, that defenses take privileges with. We stand with Dwyane and support him in this situation and have made our feelings known to the league office.”

Currently the most flop superstar is Cp3 and the 2nd is Lebron James.

Honestly Lebron doesn't even need to work on his body due to the fact that if you touch his jersey then the ref would call a foul.

He could be 220lbs and still dominate the freethrow line.

Hey_

It was definitely around the time D Wade got suspended, this was the statement released by the Heat organization at that time.

This was the release that spurred the comment from the commentator that "the Heat organization sends footage to the league office", which I referenced in my last reply.

“While we accept the decision of the NBA regarding Dwyane Wade, we do not agree with it. In his 10 years in the league, Dwyane has never been suspended, and has been an exemplary player and positive influence to his teammates and fans and we have been honored to have him as part of the Miami Heat family.

It should be pointed out that the league has reviewed several Wade fouls in recent years & not taken further action.

That release still makes me laugh.
