Dudes are acting as if Dwight putting up 20 a game and being the biggest defensive force in the L when healthy is just magically done because he's 7 feet & athletic.... Dwight isn't a GREAT offensive option but he's damn sure more than serviceable.... But then again he's a Laker now so he's severely overated.

And while we're on the convo of one STAR taking a team full of role players to the finals let's not act like Dwight didn't take Rashard Lewis bumbass to the finals after he beat Lebron & had a better showing against an L.A team that had arguably the best bigman in the game that season and one of the Goats.
While Shard was immediately overpaid, let's not pretend he was trash the entire time... he and Hedo were solid players during that run
Speaking about Rashard Lewis, he's hasn't played much in this postseason.  They're only giving him 5 mins per game in only 5 games

this was during that run right

Drummond being proactive and learning while hes still developing instead of waiting 5-6 years into the league to develop a post game, nice

good for him, but does he have the foot work to be able to learn from him and use it in games?

Josh smith

Dwight howard

Amare

Mcgee

DeAndre jordan

Yao

Okafor

tyson chandler

and proably others have worked with hakeem and none of them can use his move because

Bron and kobe worked with him and because both of them have great foot work in the post they where able to learn it and use it durning games

dudes should be banging on Kareems door, look what he did for byum and Noah. also kevin McHale

Props to Drummond though for taking the initiative to get better. He may or may not learn the moves but I like his attitude and his commitment to get better. Reminds me of an interview with The Glove where he said Lillard wants to work with him on defense this offseason as well.

I'm still trying to find out why Buc Em has a personal vendetta against Drummond.

He's going to be a savage based on pure athletic ability alone. Goodness if he gets down technique, footwork, and the mental aspect.

If he barely improves, he'll be a solid double double starter.

If he develops like many expect, he could be a top big man.

I think Drummond will be at least as good as DMC. The flashes at UConn and Detroit thus far don't lie. Man amongst boys.

The day Z-Bo makes NBA All-Defense, DBD, Antidope, LTB, and Ska will be sipping Coronas and Dos Equis on the beaches of Cancun.

Ya, Drummond has the physical tools that can't be learned.

DMC has a natural knack for offense.... something that should be able to be learned, although for bigmen, its apparently a rare feet to accomplish.

Only big man as of recent I can think of that came in with those physical tools and developed a decent offensive game is Andrew Bynum (which is why I think that is a pretty good comparison of his future development), before that probably Amare Stoudemire and Jermaine O'neal.

Kinda funny all 3 of those guys are HS to the pros players

Drummond will get there...don't know how anyone thinks the kid is an idiot especially someone who lives to make idiotic claims. Kid is already back in school working on finishing his degree but he sure is an idiot.

He is focuses on getting better from everything I have heard.
