Right now, LeBrons > Jordans.

The hood killed J's for me. :smh:

and I don't even like Robin like I use to.

I haven't bought a pair of J's in years and never bought a pair of LeBrons...

I'm one of the very few who likes LeBron's line more than Jordan's.:\

I think the popularity for both lines is pretty even at the moment...

how is this even a real question?

No the popularity is no where near as close right now Considering most of Lebrons GR shoes sit until they go on sale. The hype behind the limited ones make it seem closer than it really does. But in about 10 years i think people will start to heavily gravitate towards his line more because of the fact that newer jordan kicks wont have the same impact

Maybe the Jordan brand is mellowing out.

LBJ's upside is on the come up tho. IF he continues to win

Nah

1-7 were eh

The only 8's I liked were the South Beach.

Nike killed it with the 9's imo. I own like 5 pairs.

Kids today are watching Lebron play. They've only seen Jordan in commercials and TV clips. Michael Jordan is just a fashion label today. Kids today don't want to be like Mike, they want to be like Lebron. If Lebron continues to win championships, then he'll surpass Jordan and then when Lebron gets old, there will be another anointed one to take his place . . .

Jordan started with CLASSICS from the 1's on.. can you really say that about the Lebrons??

Im not really a fan of the lebrons but I do agree with OPs comment about Lebron being to their generation what Jordan was to ours

I say if Lebron continues to match the hype, he'll have a good chance.. only time will tell

If he finishes off the back end of it well then yes cause every Jordan post 14 is horrendous and if LeBron can finish off with 7 up in the air pairs then however many great pairs then it's a given imo

The way to truly judge it will be once he's far removed from the game like mj was and the shoes start being looked at from a purely asthetic standpoint

Iheartboost just destroyed what I thought with that post

Nope.

JB took in 90 million dollars in revenue last year, Lebrons only took in 10 million. JB is a monster. They said Kobe will pass JB, nope. Now they say Lebron, still nope.

Doubtful. I realize younger generations will probably identify with bron more, but the craze that jordan's have to this day is unlikely to be surpassed by any other athlete shoe IMO. New line of jordans are no where near what they use to be, but the OG line are still classis :pimp:

You also have to realize that Many of the Jordans models just look better than lebrons models and are also alot more "casual" (1-7) atleast than lebrons shoes which may perform great but design wise arent the best to wear off court

No, Lebron isn't as global as MJ was. Jordan saved the game after the Magic/Bird era came to a close. Lebron came in in the midst of the Kobe era.

you can't ever be as popular as the innovator

Jordan's are the reasons you little kiddos fall into the trip of paying $200+ retail for a pair of Lebrons

Jordan's have nostalgic value to us "old heads"
