That's just way to many 9's to release, not a huge fan of 9's myself, so i'll be copping 0
 
JB better have a plan for 2017 (year of the 9, potentially). I wouldn't be surprised if they just end up re-releasing a bunch of 9 color ways with minor changes like they did with the Olympic 7 colorway.

those fontay montanas got that supa colorway going for them. i like those. the motorboat jones' i'm all over because i'm a sucker for all red colorways. i love the fact jb is going in all sorts of directions with their color choices. too bad i'm just not the biggest fan of the 9. i hope they do this with other models
 
I'm on those Bentley Ellis aka Crawfish :smokin ... I usually stick to my OG colorways but these are a must for me, F what the haters say & cop what you like, just make sure you WEAR YOUR KICKZ!

Follow @TheRealKilroy4 if you're in Chicago. All the colorways will be released through some sort of scavenger hunt next week.

Nationwide info:

All the colorways will be quickstrikes between October and November.

Do NOT jump on resale prices after the Chicago pairs are sold. These should hit most of the stores which carried the GMP and Cavs.

I think it goes deeper than that, really.

Here's my theory:

All the colorways coincide with the colors of the jerseys you see MJ wearing in the IX/"Popcorn Tape" commercial. (cop - pass btw)

Johnny Kilroys   are for the Bulls of course.

The Calvin Baileys read "GARY" inside matching the "Gary" jersey which resembles Laney, easy.

Slim Jenkins played for the "Mystics" who's uniform was obviously an ode to UNC & to showcase the og IXs.

The Motorboat Jones pair go with the "Billings Bandits", the first "team" Jordan is recognized on.

(notice not only the Bulls colors, but the MJ initials and Billings/Bulls similarities, nice touches)

Fontay Montanas match the white jersey with orange & blue graphics that, if you look, is clearly designed after the Space Jam "Tune Squad" logo.

The Bentley Ellis "Crawfish" version took me a minute. But now I'm realizing "Crawfish" is wordplay on "Rockets" (red & yellow) who, as great as The Dream was, if they had that #1 pick back...well I guess these would have been an og colorway. Pretty dope IMO.

These were a cop for me anyway, but only because they match my Deion Skins jerseys and are the closest I'm getting to Prime's PE XIs. I can really appreciate them now.
