Ya steezy is pretty much 100% right, the point of this is for your elf have to their gift on Christmas not 2 days after, you agreed to have the gift sent out before Christmas not 2 days after, everyone is busy this time of year but still make time to send it out. You can't expect anyone to agree with you because you're wrong. There's nothing anyone can do now but if you plan on participating next year keep that in mind.

What I don't get is why do people who wait last minute even sign up? If this is a hassle for you and you're extremely busy, THEN DON'T SIGN UP. The people who send out on time are the ones who enjoy the whole process and get the most out of it. Dudes posting here all nonchalantly that they are sending late makes no sense.

It's perfectly clear that you didn't care that much in the first place, but had no problem e-maling Cinco and starting the whole process. Finish what you started in the way you were directed to.

You agreed to send a gift when you signed up so why wouldn't there be repercussions for not following through.

Net year I will be working with whoever runs this to make sure it goes as smoothly as possible.

Oh and while steezy might be "going hard" he is right. This is a Christmas gift exchange, procrastination isn't an excuse. There was and always has been a shipping deadline, if you didn't want to ship by then the least you could do is expedite the shipping so your elf gets the gift before Christmas. And if that's to expensive then don't spend so much on the gift. Priority mail is the best bet, 3 days tops, and not to much money depending on the weight.

Yes it's about giving but everyone is of age and should be responsible. Things come up last minute but no one forced you to sign up and no one forced you to wait until the last minute to get things done.

Feels batman. Ordered my elf (seasoned vet) gifts around the 12 to make sure it would come in on time and it showed up as delivered on the 19th so I never thought anything of it and was waiting for him to post about it but he never did so I pmd him and he said he never got it.

He contacted UPS who told him to contact amazon so I did and they should be sending him the package again. Feels bad cause I've done this before (the SS) but nothing like this happened. It was out of my control, hope you get your gifts soon Seasoned Vet and I apologize for what happened.

Sorry that happened, for te both of you, it also sucks when you put effort into something and do everything right and somewhere along the way the third party involved screws **** up.

I just didnt think you were serious, but seeing as how people get banned for scamming people all the time why wouldnt it apply here. I have no problem with the deadbeats being banned.

I agree with steezy. Next years process should go a lot smoother knowing the ban hammer will come down on the deadbeats. First time doing this and it was a great experience!

Na fam, it should stay with the setup we have now with 2 list. One with people new to SS and the returning list with those who sent out a gift.
