As much as I like these, i'm going to pass...my og is in good shape and cdp ones are still in excellent shape

Funny story about these... My cousin gave me the OGs back in the day... he was kind of geek and his mom would buy him all this fly gear, but he would never want it so he would pass it to me... When he gave me these I beat them pass DEATH lol... they actually held up pretty well and my DAD STILL has them (Im about 5 inches taller than him and had the same size at them time as he did)! Kind of mad I left them behind, but these will be copped next year!

The AJ XIII white/black-true reds AKA "He Got Game" named after the movie with Denzel Washington and Ray Allen as Jesus Shuttlesworth
as Denzel wore them in the movie to play basketball, is similar like the AJ XI white/black-dark concords AKA "Concords"
because of their strong white/black contrast, while other colorways usually have rather decent contrasts.

I still have my OG pairs and wear them. When I purchased them in October 1997 I was not liking them much.
I actually bought them because I did not want to miss them out as an Air Jordan collector.
After years my love for these grew.

and causing Havoc and riots because they are too exclusive?

Even general releases like the Cement IV or Olympic VI were sold out
fast in most sizes during the release date on many websites and
some local stores.
This shoe has been worn by MJ during the whole preseason
and all home games in his last season as a Chicago Bull.
It should not be produced too few and accessable to all
who wants them badly.

My CDP XIII's are still in great shape...there's a chance I may pass. But man-o-man does thekid love the XIII's. But this "He Got Game" nickname is whacktastic.

Also, why do people say "retire"? What have you done to "retire"? I used to drink quarter waters, but I don't now...Did I "retire" from the quarter water game? Same goes for orange soda...

My man Corgi Shoe said it best...And i'm not trying to come at anyone that says things like "I'm gonna retire"...I'm just curious...But Corgi said, people act like copping kicks is a talent or a sport that people deserve applause for (or they can retire from). Just doesn't seem to make sense to me.

Thank you Jesus. These and the Black/Red 13's will complete my "13's" collection.

The term "retire" is thrown around loosely, but I do have a day (one day) when I will have everything I wanted as far as Jordans (Mainly OG colorways), and I think, "what's left?" I'm not too far behind.

So that's when the term "retire" comes in. Not because I want a standing ovation for completing it, or because I care what other people think, I can give 2 damns.....

But because it was a long fun hobby while it mattered.
