This is how I feel for the most part. I’ve been fortunate to be able to get all the shoes I’ve really truly wanted. My list was based on this fantasy, and is fun to think about, but they’re not “grails” per se, in that I absolutely NEED any of them. I did recently obtain one of my grails that I’ve always wanted, the Jordan 4 Blings (all white w/ chrome 4s, but with the perforated leather in place of the plastic mesh) from 2000. Yeah, I guess I never looked at it from this point of view. I guess it's cool that only sneakerheads would be able to know it's a collab. It's just that in my mind, my idea of a collab is a design that moves away from how the original looks and add its own twist that you can actually see.
