maybe its just age since im nearing 50 but im im just honestly baffled. i wear my shoe and i get a crease after a days worth of walking.

I feel you. I'm the opposite though, I don't understand how people's 1s get so creased. I wear my kicks and they don't crease or barely crease. I'm a unicorn.

Somewhere along the way, the sentiment morphed from “Jordan 1s don’t look bad creased/beat up” which is true, to “tHEy lOoK bETtEr cREaSeD.”
I know this comment will annoy a lot of good posters, but someone needs to stand up and say it: stop being sheep and just repeating ish. If the rest of your outfit looks vintage or grungy, fine. But if it isn’t, then get out of here with that I PREFER creased/beat up BS.
Yes, I know some people genuinely do and that’s fine. But the majority of people who repeat that are just lying to themselves and following the popular NT sentiment.

Certain ones look great creased and others don't, it's a shoe by shoe basis
