I really just want a black/white remaster. This year has been like goin from ONE PUNCH MAN season 1 animation w/ MAD HOUSE (frags-2018.) to season 2 with JC Staff. Theres a few gems but they're majorly lacking in one thing or the other. The "quality" releases are limited instead of being in abundance. Materials have been cheapened. They alter something that no one asked for. Etc etc its mad weak.
 
I think it's time to get a select few AJKO's back into my collection. I really just want the Sail pair & Chicago.

I never said I would do it. I am open to appreciating things over time though. Also, it’s easy and fun to give you a hard time, so that’s part of it.
 
So looks like $175 is gonna be the norm price for retail 1s in 2020? R.I.P. $160 really wish 1's weren't the meme shoe for the moment. If this continues they'll be $200-220 in 2022 for retail and they'd still sell out. I am glad I have 85% of my essentials already. Save for frags and if they ever return to OG colorways previously unretro'd and unremastered. Other than that, everything else is passable. Even if these b/reds come out since I have the 16's already.

It's the current trend and is in every form of media. It's not a bad thing per se but it's just obvious most of the "love and attention" 1's have been receiving lately is becoming a fad of sorts.

Not trash, just oversaturated and everywhere. That's what 1s are. Previous meme shoes are Dad shoes, Yeezy's, White mid-top Air Force 1s, Van's, anyone remember Supras? and the classic meme Chuck Taylor's but that's understandable because that was literally every sneaker along with PF Flyers.

I mean, I love my mid-top white Air Force 1s but there was a point in time where everyone on social media was legitimately buying them all I
up just for the "fad" and "aesthetics" and not because they genuinely like the shoe.
