The 1's were cannibalized in the late 2000's :x there were so many iterations and colorways dropping weekly it seemed like, not to mention their uncomfort that made them unwearable to many...their stigma was shot for a while but JB made em prestigious again IMO

The wack color ways and mid cut contributed heavy to that era [emoji]128565[/emoji] The new molds, leather quality and og color ways are what's bringing me back

The 09s do have nice quality but it's like aqua velvet compared to leather and a jumpman to top it off. Can't wait for 17s to drop. #shadowgang

Still a ton releasing these days too. What changed is they finally went back to the OG styling.

I never thought I would rock a 1 with a jumpman the back but those RTTG were an exception. Copped at the outlet for $50, had better quality than other 1s, and a good colorway on classic bred/royal/shadow color blocking. I had to triple up

Jordan 1s with a Jumpman on it anywhere on the outside of the shoe always looked awkward to me. That's why I skipped most of the mid 2000 to early 2013 Jordan 1s. I think the Melo 1s are okay though.

i remember a discussion in this thread not even full two months ago where myself and a few others were praising the shadows with push back for the sake of hyping the breds, royals, and chi. But since you don't understand where I'm coming from and think I'm saying shadows get no love, what's the point of continuing this exchange?
