clearly you are a child or new to the game. I dont hate JB but they arent a good company, their products are barely worth retail. I dont pay resell for a vastly inferior product. Im not an idiot like most in the game. I wouldnt do it if i was broke or rich. I buy what i like and for retail only.

Because i had to, i had gotten a ridiculous deal but im saying is the product worth the resell? hell no

those were the only times ive paid more than a couple dollars over retail and ive been collecting for quite awhile even before the "game" blew up. especially in the future if i miss out, im not paying over retail just as ive been doing for the last year.

someone was willing to hook me up with what most on here would call a REALLY really good price on the Jeters but i passed. yall can keep praying for quality materials and shoes from JB

Very hard to say, on the fence about these but am def concerned. I compared them to mine and they are pretty much on point except for the replacement box, missing laces, and cardboard inserts (which are all not part of the shoe, but suspect). Def respect to @geraldg2309, just want to throw in some of my thoughts.

1. Overall shape may look like mids because the laces are loose on the shoe. If tightened, I think they will go back to looking like high OG. Not sure though. Either way, the new rstor23 fakes seems to be highs.

2. Hard to tell if the colors are off really because the seller used a flash on pics.

3. Typical GM shoe horns/ankle inserts are typically lower quality than the ones shown, but the new rstor23 fakes seem to have these higher quality inserts. Know that the original should be the same that you get with any other high OG.

4. Replacement shoe boxes are difficult to accept for any shoe, but these were handed out at the Jordan Brand Classic. I came across a few pairs at Flight Club when I was on the hunt and they had the OG box, but no label. Note sure if some would even get a pair without a box. Anyone have info?

Based on what I have seen for fakes, Gerald is right, def look out for those that look like mids (most mids also do not have a clear sole). Here are examples:

Now the more recent rstor23 fakes that @Zyzz found a while back are much harder to tell. I think we walked away saying that one definite sign of an rstor23 fake  is the fact that they have white stitching on the midsole. The original has gold stitching (as does the one that Gerald posted, from what I can see if I squint... pchop?). I also noticed that the lace bag is off on rstor23 fakes (missing from the one that Gerald posted= red flag). Here are some pics.

This is a tough call if only looking at the shoe itself because I think the shape looks right and the fact that the shoe has gold stitching on midsole. I am willing to help anyone who gets more pics from the seller though. All I can do is provide info and pics of mine if needed.

I think a quick way to tell they are fake is the lace bag coming in the SB bag (lol of course) and the shoehorns are like a white, glossy kinda surface (think Cigars shoehorns) instead of the grey, rough texture like the original. And of course if it doesn't come with a box

Though these are the better updated fakes with a glitter sole and no discernible widows peaks, I think the heel guard is still a bit short. I know that the midsole stitching was fixed too so this is gonna be pretty intresting cause the SB bag was still attached. Regardless, Just watch out and always have a legit check lol

No doubt bro.. Gonna be hard to figure this one out. The more info people put out there the better. I'd say at this point no one should order a pair unless it comes with OG everything, and everything must check out.

I almost ordered a pair just to make comparisons. Would cost me $180 and Western Union only. I'd hope to find something else that jumps out like the wrong insole or production dates.

Maybe I can do a kickstarter for it.

I'm probably going to get flamed for buying fakes.. But I bought a pair of those black/gold pl 1s a few days ago from a replica site. When they get here I will do a detailed comparison with my breds since I don't have a legit pair of pl 1s.
