Just sold worn 1x sz 9.5 and 10.5 with original everything for $900 a piece local meet up. Already regretting it :rolleyes

:wow: 9 hunna a piece?!

No point in getting 85s unless your strictly buying for collection purposes. Not about to spend 1K for beat 85s when I can pick up ds 2013s for half that. Makes no sense

I would seriously rock a pair of '85's. I couldn't just look at them, they're too beautiful. I wouldn't beat them though, I'd just sprinkle them into a rotation. I don't even wear my 2013's often. Wore them yesterday for the 2nd time since the released :smh:

Yeah man. I didnt want to move but honestly they were doing nothing for me in the closet. I have a few pairs of 2013s so I doubt they were going to hit pavement again. Beautiful shoe though! The tumbled leather used is truly 1 of a kind (for J brand)

If I had 85s if rock also. Just dont see the point in dropping $$ on them when I can get 2013s for half the price. Ankle collar on those 85s are donezo. Theyd look real nice in a display case though. True history

You got a great price for em. You can buy them back for less eventually

Yeah, thats what I was thinking also. I know I can find that 10.5 no problem but that 9.5 in that condition is always tough. With the way this 1 game is playing out, who knows. Hopefully these black/whites arent an issue

Would love a pair of '94 black/red because banned 1's are almost impossible to find DS under $800
A NTer had helped me find a pair for I think it was $750 DS but damaged box but I passed

Although it is kind of annoying if the box is damaged. If it's nonexistent in the market it won't deter me from purchasing

I wouldn't pass because of a damaged box but that's because I've made the change over to drop front boxes a while back.

I can kind of see how someone who just keeps their shoes in the og boxes would pass though (especially if they plan to wear).

i feel like an idiot now, i mean its a lot of money. i could have gotten rid of a pair of breds to make it an even easier purchase.

im stupid

I almost pulled the trigger in a pair of banneds the other day for $620 shipped. Worn 1x with box and receipt, but they were a 10.5 :frown:

There are more fake Black Golds on eBay.. I'm counting 4 total right now. If you are buying, make sure it is OG everything. Lace bag should be the same size as your other 1s and without a red line, ankle cardboard insert should be brownish and not thick/white, and box should be the same as other 1985 High OGs (ask for pics of box label if not shown in pics because it seems most are hiding it).

As for parts of the shoe that give it away, the production dates on tongue seem to match the authentic pairs (ugh!), but the border is incorrect. Fake pairs have a semi transparent border when it should be milky white like most OGs. Also, the bottom of the heel tabs on the back of fakes are pushed in a bit where the stitch is. Basically improper stitching. Lastly, the area above the heel tab should be about the same height of the heel tab. That area on fakes is quite a bit taller than the heel tab. Note that it is more noticeable on some pairs than others. That's all I can say about it until I get one in my hands.

Be smart.. pay attention to seller ratings.. shoot me a message if you want me to give an opinion on a LC thread. Best of luck.

So I take back what I said about the 23NYs being plain because they exceeded my expectations

Bert. Bert. don't beat yourself up, things always pop back up and come back around. Just don't screw up your second chance!

As far as Blk/Glds, they're nice and I wanted and thought I needed a pair but I've convinced myself that with the price, number of fakes and that they're not a true OG (sole/tongue tag wrong), I am gonna forego these...$1,250 saved.

Really hope these find their way to some other retailer than flight23 (I'm looking at you nikelab.).
Doubt it, these have the address of flight23 in the tagging. Plus if lab touched em and you couldn't cop at flight23 doubt you'd have a chancd
