I personally wouldn't trade my royals for those (don't think I'd trade for anything) & those 6's have a clear tongue right? If so, that thing is going to yellow & look disgusting.

I wouldn't if I were you because those 6s aren't going to look good over time with wear because of the material used and the icy tongue won't as well. The 1s are gonna last you a long time tho but it really depends on which one you like better and take the value of each sneaker out of the equation to which one you really like moreNT1 OG Fam

That remastered bait Nike threw out there has everyone brainwashed. Their aren't any AJ1's being remastered because 1's don't have anything to really change minus the shape. Chicago's are only getting dropped under this "remastered" umbrella because it's the 30th anniversary of the Air Jordan 1. And seeing as those are the "the most iconic air Jordan 1"

I guarantee we won't see the royals again this decade. It's like everyone always hoping to see space jams again every Christmas yet JB flirts with the colorway albeit in a tainted form like Gamma's or the low top space jams we're allegedly getting next year. Slam dunk 6's are dope don't get me wrong but Royals are an OG colorway. Combined with OG branding and the demand is too great for Nike to play an ace again that soon. To each their own though.

You gotta think of it from the standpoint of what JB didn't do right with recent retros to kind of map out what is gonna get a "remastered" treatment. I can see Chicago 2's releasing under this "remastered" line because 2's had a little retro run earlier this year and the white/red OG CW dropped but not the Chicago. Same with the maroon 6's. We got every OG CW of 6's back but those were noticeably absent. Even with the white cement 4's when we got the 2012 retro, the grey was "tech grey" instead of "cement grey" which led you to believe that a more accurate retro would come soon those are little pointless changes JB does to make the consumer gripe and buy into the same sneaker again without having to rebuild demand. As far as the 2013 OG 1's, those were perfect all they way around. They even gave us an OG box. But the chicago's had the jumpman on it with a wack wings box which is how you know that a more accurate release is on the horizon. Little troll clues JB leaves you to wet your appetite. At least that's how I see it.
