black toes > shadow for me, and i only paid 250 for black toes. even thought quality is not as nice.

I'm glad I copped my Shadows before the price increase. The Black/White 1's lookin to be the Shadows all over again IMO.

Might jus pass on those Frags & cop the Black/Whites

Ugh, I got it for $100. A year later, it's $400. Not to say I'm a reseller but the Shadows were way easy to get except in my town of Tampa (I was able to find it at multiple shops in Miami).

yup i believe the blk/wht are going to be the same, history will only repeat, most ppl dont learn.

Glad I was able to grab the Black and Whites even with my bad non bot having luck.

Again, for whatever reason, it's hard to get 1s in Tampa unless you go right at release which I avoid with University Mall.

If you like them and have the funds idk why you would pass on them. The leather is on point and the color way goes with everything. Shadows went under the radar because of the Toro 4s releasing same day idk what's going on with the black/white but you're right people will regret passing on those.

Was able to size swap my 10.5 for a 9.5 at sneakercon. Glad was able to thought it was gonna hassle. Leather is very soft, I'm happy with these 1s. I heard they will restock one more time before Christmas then that will be it. Also grabbed the black gum 1s from flight 23 when they opened at 8,was barely anyone there. Used the $20 off from infrared 6s.

i just asked a dude on the bay, said 450 shipped lol dont wanna spend more than 400 for shadows really. still prefer to get a pair of 88 3s. ill see lol 

I have the Jordan 3 88 White cements and the cracking on them is really bad and I just wear them casually. 1s are built much better and dont have the same issues.

I have included some wear comparioson pics of the Jordan 1 2001 Black and Red and the 2012 Jordan 3 88. The photos are not the best quality but the Jordan 1 has been worn many more times and has no cracking like the Jordan 3 which is falling part and I am worried that the sole will crumble

Those threes are fine. I don't even see cracking it's just stress marks from being worn

Maybe that's cracking near the heel but those have no danger of crumbling for the next ten years or so.

Yes ones are more durable because they don't have anything that severely degrades with age outside the padding getting hard, the rubber degrading, and the glue disconnecting

I'm mad that I was working the day the Shadows dropped, and that I didn't subsequently just hop on them after when they were in the $200 range. Same exact way I feel about the Bred 1's from last year. I was on a flight to visit family when they dropped, but immediately after saw pairs on ebay going for $200 and only a little over, but I was too stubborn and didn't want to pay that for a pair of 1's. And now look where I am. No Shadows. No Breds. Thank God I have the Black Toes at least.

I mean both of those kicks are extremely well worn. Neither will have overly long lives.

So I have a question, I know how polarizing the Black Gums are but can't remember if the Jeters and NY23 were too. They're not exactly simple color ways like the Shadows, etc.
