Yup SOMPS easily the better shoe, that euphoria nubuck is nice. I saw the black gum 1s in Flight 23, they really aren't anything special.

Went to check them out today and as I suspected the materials make the shoe look meh.
If the shoe was all leather and if they dropped the off colored Jumpman on the heel it would be a different story.
At least make the Jumpman tonal.
The black/gums grew on me and now I really want them.
Imagine if those gums had high quality leather

The Flushing shop is definitely the one near the Seven. Close to the corner of Roosevelt and Union.

After checking all over today and almost giving up all hope, I checked one more spot and found out that the last pair of Melo's they had was in my size. Needless to say, I rushed over and copped. Here's my updated AJ1 collection. All of them bought at retail or less.
Jumpman or not, they're a really nice colorway. Happy that I was able to get them, especially since my birthday is tomorrow. I actually wore my Black/Whites for the first time today and plan to unDS my Sport Blue KO's tomorrow.
I finally saw the Black/Gums the other day, but I couldn't pull the trigger on them. I was impressed when I saw the CP3's today though. They're pretty nice in person.

Laney's are super underrated. Great materials and they remind me of the old Los Angeles Rams jerseys in the '80's. I wouldn't be surprised if they go up in value later down the road like the Laney 5's did the first time around.

I agree. The first time I saw the black/gums they did nothing for me and it was the same for the Melos.
After looking at the black/gums again today I had a change of heart, but still not enough to cop.
Instead I picked up a pair of Nike Air Pegasus 83/30.
The Melos are nice, but I just don't like metallic shoes anymore. I can't make that work at this stage of my life.
I own Pewters and Craig Stecyks, but they aren't in the rotation because I haven't figured out the right fit.
As I get older I find my style becoming more conservative hence why the gums are a better choice for me over Melos.

I don't mess with Is at all BUT the Melos are dope.
I'm still not buying but I think you guys should take a second look at them if you haven't. Black and gold, easy to purchase, and priced pretty solid.

Wanted to quickly compare excuse the covers...these melos are actually dope...i got a 9.5 cause the 9's were sold out...wore them Saturday all day...a little creasing but not to bad...it gives them character

I'm not sure if they came in GS sizes or not but they do have some other black/gold 1s in GS that are out
