I said toecap because the toebox is not the issue.
Its the material that protects or reinforces the toebox that doesn't come up far enough

but I own several pairs in this line. All are black/ red one is gamma blue.
Anyway I never noticed the above shoe was a true high until now.

Slept on shoe and yes they are a AJ1 High. At one time in 2013 I desired the 93 Playoff 1s more than the Playoff 8s. The high cut and the durabuck used on these is awesome looking and IMO the execution of mixing both models together came out well with the 93s.
