It really is, were officially supposed to release, got pulled, supposedly pushed to this year, pop up online, stores received shipment, sell them, then pull them from shelves, pop up at more stores, people double, triple, quadruple up, sell for buku prices, pop up at more stores and keep going, I lowkey like how it was done, kept you in your toes if you wanted a pair

this is how it used to be back in the day before the internet! Grab the local phonebook and start dialing places! Thats actually how I came  up on my Melos. It felt quite nostalgic actually.

Can anyone with Melos confirm the quality?

A regular 1...with a weird toe material, a regular 1, it's decent material, but a regular 1

Tbh probably a little bit of both. When I first inquired about them being available I was told the 20th. I went in store 2 days later (a week b4 the 20th) and was told they sold them all. THEN when they started popping up everywhere I went and checked the system on multiple occasions for sizes. I would call a few of those stores that supposedly had those sizes in stock and they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. I think we all know employees can be shady. Either way, in the dmv there were plenty of Melos to go around for everyone.

Well I will tell you this, I work at a retailer...in the DMV and yeah they were on our calendar for 12/20, it's all about who you're talking to, a sales associate that doesn't know anything will tell you anything, usually good to ask for a manager, or first ask the associate if they know a little about shoes. Within those two days they possibly could have sold once word got out people went out, and it is possible 1 guy could have purchased the entire stock. Shipment comes multiple times a week so them "popping back up" could've just been sizes they didn't receive in the first shipment. But anyway, you need a pair? Holla at me, more than glad to help fam
