Since you're in here, can you shed any light on this new rumor regarding the 23NY 1's releasing at other stores in NY during the festivities & that the amount being sold will be around 5K?

Ther than what I said prior there is no new info on my end

Flight 23 might split it with the pop up at the garden though that would be at their own discretion


Also these restocks won't be too easy to grab

The prime locations are msg pop up and flight as they get top billing and will have like everything

But holding down 2 lines will be far too crazy

Also the pop up is recieving 4 trucks per day

Yes 4 deliveries per day

So what's available at 10am will sell through and at say 2pm restock of another style will occur

The pop up stock room is rather small so they are planning to drop BOMBS in there for restocks as they need the sell through for space for the next drop

So they may not do the 1 release per day route

Could easily be at opening say jeter 1

Then 4pm poof prelude pack is out in the location etc...

That way to avoid large crowds just taking over the street for days at a time

Again this could change as it's still being organized

Also they I beleive do a soft opening tomorrow at the pop up so if anyone wants to swing by and ask questions might get some info

I love how the Shadows are so hyped now though, but I find it hard to believe that retailers sat on them based on how poorly they sold following release day. For that matter based off 2009 sales. I remember someone posted that a local shop in Cali had two size 11.5 of the '09s for $70 on sale about a month before the '13s dropped. I called them with a quickness, but they wouldn't take phone orders. I ended up buying a pair of the bay for $200

Lol. Couldnt pay me to be there in NYC. NY is already a madhouse. Add thousands more people + outta towners...nope im good. When I visit im an outta towner but not a tourist. I grew up visiting my pops in bedstuy and aunts in brooklyn.  So unlike most visitors we're fully aware of how to navigate the public transit ($1 vans (queens), trains, busses). Nothing is more annoying than being around people who don't when it's busy.  Enjoy that out there.  I'm sure the kicks deals will help make it worth it.

Im so glad my family trip to NYC is scheduled for the wknd after ASW.

Which is a mystery to me. I wasn't interested in the Royals when they dropped, because the Shadows were not too far behind. I knew I'd wear them a lot more, but the Breds were definitely on my radar. I went on a business trip to Toronto last year and had at least 5 people compliment me on my Royal J-Pack dunks, but not one on my Shadows. I like them for what they are...a great everyday shoe!

Seen a rumor on Twitter last night that around SIX THOUSAND pairs of NYC 1's are restocking for ASW at other locations in NY besides Flight 23...

Oh how I hope this is true, sellers I offered $300 to are going to be begging me for that deal

Honestly people should all be able to grab SOMETHING

Resellers will target whatever is nyc exclusive or high resell value

That's a given

Like we all know prelude restock all resellers are goin for Kobe 1 and 5 out the gate as they draw the most of the after market

That still frees up rest of that pack plus other things

Same with the 1's everyone gunna go after nyc and jeters frees up chances for shadows etc...

Unless they organize and work in teams the resellers won't be able to scoop up everything it's just far too much spread across stores

They would literally have to sleep on the street all week and never go home just wait cop and rewait for 926383937 hours lol

Of course as I said those higher profile drops are huge targets but then go after something else and you should be good

Plus regardless of restocks all star drops that week and Jordan drops etc... It's going to be a massively expensive week for people some might tap out by mid week lol
