I copped a pack of 3 different blues and a pack of black ones from Marshalls before I went to Singapore last September. They were just right for the humidity out there since they are thinner than regular Polo tees. The hotel room service had them looking like crop tops by the time I left though

As of right now royals are worth more than black/red. That's not to say that royals are better than black/red because IMO the black/red 1 is THE definitive air Jordan (and red is my favorite color) but the royals are like the first LS air Jordan. The colorway goes so well with the silhouette, the same with the shadows as well. I'd say if you were to trade DS for DS black/red for royal you'd have to add at least $100 cash with black/red...for right now. I say after this year or at least toward the end of this year black/red's will be 1 to 1 with royals. I feel like black/red low's and chicago's will reinvigorate demand for '13 black/red 1's

I highly doubt that. I can't see them matching up in value anytime soon without another Royal release in some fashion. This was the first royal 1 retro since 2001. The Breds came in strapped versions and banned (whether or not you can acquired them, they're there). You don't want the '13s, you have the option of spending more for the banneds or finding the straps cheap. Don't really have that alternative option for the Royals "recent" releases.

The other thing is that black/red is a typical color way for JB signatures and black/blue really isn't. You want a predominately black/red Jordan, you can still get a choice of popular models starting from the 4s. Couldn't really do that until recently with black/royal.

I think you could find an '01 pair for that price. Then you have some variety in the same colorway. Just my two cents.

^That's a reasonable price based on the market. I just refuse to pay resell for the '13s. Even though resell is higher for most of the older models I think you're getting more quality for your money.

Yep. Plus, the Bred's were in the DMP 1 pack and they came out in lows and are coming out in lows AGAIN.

I would look around. Less than a month ago I was able to get a DS 2013 pair and NDS 1994 pair for $625 total off of eBay.

like someone else said the royals were basically a EU drop & finding a legit pair is def a needle in a haystack search..

this is coming from someone who had more pairs of royals than some US stores did & sold my personal pair few months after rd because i honestly never liked the cw at all wanted the closet space

I know the 411 on the royals street market...but I have been getting folks telling me Bred + $300....****..maybe $100 I can understand...

Its not "un-needed anger", it just leaves me questioning about this sneaker market...which it has reached a dumb level...

I think 2013 royals where more limited than breds tho. Don't know about the quality of leather but the mold on the sole was ****** up on alot of pairs. QC

Take charge then.. Buy some royals for $700 or so and then sell your Breds after the fact for whatever you think they are worth. Prob going to be a $150 to $200 price diff today. If you hold onto the breds for a while, they may inch up even more.

Gonna be much harder to find the trade you are looking for. I own Royals and would rather have cash than to deal with Breds++. Reason is, I already have Breds. The trade bait just isn't attractive.
