It wasn't overlooked. Many people mentioned it actually as their reason for the hesitation. This will be the case with all GS releases-not just 1's....GS kicks have a diff shape. As a female who the GS kicks were designed to benefit I have absolutely no problems with the difference-ESP if it keeps the guys away and the quantities in abundance for the ladies.
I don't think they'll be limited but I think a lot of people will like them.

I have no luck with raffles. For carmine release my girl and I got like 20 tickets and not 1 phone call. Smh

I'm in a college town so it just depends if people got money that week. I've entered a couple raffles for my friend here and won each one.
I guess that means I'm due for a loss

I hear what you're saying and I do lean towards DS b/c the secondhand savings aren't substantial enough.
BUT, I make $$$ off of restorations of kicks so restoring kicks don't bother me. I also get amazing deals at thrift stores for other items too. I'm not opposed to secondhand items like some are. HOWEVER, my question with these is what price would you pay for a NDS pair?

I don't win them either. What size do you wear? If you're in a bigger city with a lot of sneakerheads and a really popular size it's almost impossible to get them w/o a hookup.

Smh, got hit with the back order from FTL on the men's high. But they said back ordered until 1/17/15 which was yesterday?

I live in Jersey so no tax for me but I'm planning on moving to FL and tax is gonna bother the hell out of me. Guess I'm spoiled.

Same thing from eastbay. Last time I had this was GMP which didnt ship until 3 weeks later. Hope not the case or cancelled.

I got the backorder email from Eastbay. They all ship from the same warehouse apparently are affiliated with each other. I got on the phone with a snobby customer service rep who offered little to no information on the subject, other than that they would ship as soon as they come in.
Obviously I knew that, but the incompetence of some of these people is mind boggling at times.

Got the same email.
I've seen it go both ways. Most of the time, they ship within the week, but a few times they oversold and ended up canceling.

FWIW when I went to order the wmns on FTL it said they are back ordered until 1/30. That's why I went with NDC b/c I didn't wanna wait that long.
I doubt it takes that long though. NDC usually ships same day & it's a day later and no shipping info so I'm guessing these may just take longer than usual from everywhere that didn't have them on hand already.

I spoke with a customer service rep and he said if you get the back order email that your item is reserved. The orders that get cancelled are from the cards that get declined. Probably because at that point in time, theres not enough money in accounts and whatnot

In the pics the leather look pretty good. They the og nike air too, those been had good quality, hopefully it compares wit frags or better. Lets see how much Jb going to try and get us for a "remastered" laser 1....
