I finally got my royals and all i can say is wow! The leather and contrast within the shoe is just awesome. If the royals didn't cost so much i would cop 5 of them to last me throughout my life time, i personally think they are a must have and should be in everyones collection despite the $1000 price tag. Im just getting into retro one's because of the black and whites and my collection will soon grow even more so expect to see me more in this thread. The question for me now is what next? breds from 2013 or banneds from 11?

Banneds are really awesome obviously but I would try to find some 01 black/reds. Too many GM pairs of the 13s and the price is around the same.

Congrats brutha! Def go for breds or shadows next. I have the 13s. Currently on the hunt for the banneds myself.

smokey Congrats and welcome to Club Royal. If I were in the market for blk/red 1s, I would go with the 13's. Having both personally, the banneds are nice. But cost wise, the 13's make more sense.

Royal's are worth it, but the excessively high resale price tag isn't. I'm glad I copped a pair when I could for a decent price around release date..still ds though.

My thoughts exactly. Wish they had melos or a random drop of 2013/2014 1s haha. But yeah, I've never seen them carry 1s till today. Would be crazy if they end up getting Chi's.

That's a bold statement.  I'm usually a fan of simple colorways but they are nicely designed.
