Gumbottoms quality was atrocious

Like 2013 chi1 atrocious

Not one of the two pairs I purchased had anything wrong with them....

Did you see one pair and judge ALL pairs upon that?

I remember strolling into my store and doubling down. These knuckleheads didn't know anything about molds or NA.

More along the lines of anything (respectable) that had an NA tag was always an instant sellout in 2013-2014 etc...

More along the lines of anything that had an NA tag was always an instant sellout in 2013-2014 etc...

regarding the leather quality

stiff, pleather mess

i saw several pairs at  jimmy jazz here

they just looked uncomfortable

if JB released them RM i would of copped no doubt

The Laneys and Celtics don't look bad.

To me, the yellow and crazy film reels are what mar the Highlight Reels.

They are pretty comfy actually...

I agree the leather was not soft like LMs or anything.....

Agree. With so many other things dropping this month though there's no way I could justify them and the price. Bred 1 lows next weekend, rumored AM 90 Infrared this month, waiting to see if the Pearl 4's are actually $180, and trying to keep an eye out for the the De La High SB to hit a sale....not to mention I just picked up the Vday Asics GLV.  Lasers were nowhere near the top for me.

I just don't do quality and Jordan Brand.  JB has made it clear within the last 5 yrs that it's mostly about aesthetics.  They know most people by Jordan retros to stunt...that's it. No need to compare them for me.  My local FA has them still on display. I'm sure you could use a birthday coupon too.

Agree. The Celtics are extremely underrated-I think they're dope. Laneys are just OK to me, but they'd make a nice base for customs.

I like the lasers tho but I won't buy them because they have so much white and I already have the LB XIs and IVs so I didn't want to and that icy sole made passing for me easier

Just got home from picking up the laser 1's. Awesome quality!! Two things i don't like though are the $185 price tag and no OG box. VERY plush leather though.

Right? I don't get it. So if everyone's on it, then we start talking about hype beast. But when people don't want a shoe, the sneaker heads true colors show? This game is too much for me. Its why I only cop 3-4 jays per year.

I don't care if leather is superb. If i don't like the aesthetics of a shoe, I'm not copping.
