I didn't get a email confirmation, but it let me click reserve a spot. And when I tried to reserve for the next day, i got a waitlist.. so I was assuming maybe if it let me click reserve a spot, maybe its a good sign.
apparently that holds true for a lot of NYers. I just don't have the time and I refuse to die of hypothermia for sneakers lol. BTW, congrats on the Don raffle. Wish I got lucky like you.

I got an email for the NTNY but not yet for the SNKR. Lol with 100 people only, and I wear a very small size, I hope I won't have trouble with getting shoes I want. There better be something good thing. See you there tomorrow. Will be wearing white/black nike trainers

No keep going bro. I went to Flight 23 grand opening, covered it for this magazine. Fam line was full of corks. Baggy cargo sweats and dirty kicks. I'm lost when I walk past line up for kicks dudes look mad dusty. Out of all the resellers I know personally, none of them are fly. all dress like bums. And now cuz of the sneaker hype, my lil $25 premium I use to give them is out the window. NT people help me more with kicks than folks I see on the regular. Idk what these dudes do with they money, most still live with mom and drive corollas.

Not to be that person, but isn't that what "millionaire next door" does and look like? I'm in no way saying all of them or even most of these resellers are wealthy, BUT I am saying living at home, driving a corolla, and dressing like a bum might not be the sole indication of wealth. I think too many people get caught up in the look of wealth vs actual wealth. I used to knock the resellers hustle, but I realized they wouldn't really have a hustle if I didn't employ them-so I don't.
But getting back to the point...I'm with yall aint no way I'm standing in brick cold weather for hours for a shoe. For me that's just not the best use of my time.
