Gone are the days ppl just be like "you u wanna trade this for that, I like them and u like these so why not" Now its "How much money u got? or I got this much too spend, what you got?" before they even talk about the shoes. I understand it but I don't at the same time. I traded my motorsport 6s for raptor 7s last year too someone I know, but not friends with. Purely because I like the 7s more. Didn't even discuss adding cash. Don't care bout that ****. Obviously if we talking something that's rare as hell it wouldn't be the same but if the shoes are fairly close to each other I will and always do trade without cash being added. Probably sounds dumb to most, but I do these small things in hope that it makes an effect somehow even its too one person. Yes im an old grump sneaker collector

I've hooked up so many nters and can count on one hand how many times I've been personally looked out for
I've seen the worse cases on this site

I hate this add cash on top because my shoe is valued at $50 more. To me, its all the same at that difference.
We're not talking I'll trade Frags for your Black/Reds. Makes sense to add cash when one shoe is worth two times or more than another. But when its $25-$100 difference, I call it even.
Its becomes similar to trading baseball cards. Gone full nerd status

those reverse qs/playoff 12 looking 20s are hideous. and i'm no expert, but the royals dude wanted a LC on do look fake, imo. why? mostly the tongue material, although it's not that easy to tell in all pics. plus they look rather shiny, but again, i'm not a jordan 1 expert.
most of us NTers are pretty much sneaker nerds anyway, or at least that's how we may be perceived bc we DO love sneakers mor ethan the average person. "normal" ppl don't have jordan 1s (or any shoe, for that matter) in 7 or 8 different colorways.

Same reason why shadows are going for $500+ right now. Shadows were a normal AJ 1 release just like Black/Whites and they're are tons of pairs out there (compared to gym reds)
IMO prices on Gym Reds have already settled at what people are willing to pay
Black/White prices are barely starting to go up now

reading all the comments about USA heads looking for Gym Red OG makes me feel bad I passed on them for just over retail
on our local FB in UAE someone offered me last December a BN GYM Red 10US for only
160$ and I passed on it
The WOrst Part is that the GYM RED was released in UAE and I pass on it when I was on the mall for only SRP
I asked my wife if it's alright with her to Cop it and right away she said no so I put back the size 10US in the Shelves
a month later someone offered me for 160$ and still pass on it.
