Do it!!  I bought a size 18 last year just for the hell of it and love using it as a display.  Here's a size 11 vs a size 18.  They look like a mens vs gs set.  Actually I should pull out my gs pair and take a group shot for comparison haha.

Well I can understand in your case, you're a broke college student. I'd be frugal too. And though I agree with not wanting to spend $700 on used shoes, sometimes if you find a rare gem that goes for a lot more but is a great deal for a slightly used pair, I would take it. Pretty much what alp said. If I see a pair of slightly used Banneds for $700, you'd be damn right that I'm buying that right away. And I'm sure there are a few members here who would do that, would you guys pay $700 for some worn once black/gold?
