Well I can understand in your case, you're a broke college student. I'd be frugal too. And though I agree with not wanting to spend $700 on used shoes, sometimes if you find a rare gem that goes for a lot more but is a great deal for a slightly used pair, I would take it. Pretty much what alp said. If I see a pair of slightly used Banneds for $700, you'd be damn right that I'm buying that right away. And I'm sure there are a few members here who would do that, would you guys pay $700 for some worn once black/gold?

About to pull this trigger for 01 Breds for $600. Lowest I've seen in DS in the past month. Seen at least 3 DS pairs in my size sell for $700+ and I almost pulled the trigger each time. Was gonna save that money for Banneds but $600 for DS 01's got me rethinking

In my size range of 8-8.5, I see prices around 250-300, though I wouldn't pay for that because b/w don't do much for me.

I'd say you'll have a better chance by picking up an extra pair of Chicagos and trade for b/w. But if the chicagos are limited gr, you can probably get a pair of shadows out of it. Might be a reach tho.

picked up a 10 some time after release for 210 and I thought I overpaid. Seeing as to how the current chicagos are fairly obtainable, theres little reason to me that people would want the ones coming out in may aside from the remastered quality.

Very likely, Ill be going after them. The remastered quality on the frags got me hooked bad, Im a sucker for some o dat cow skin

Prices of royals are already up, don't think they'll exceed much more than what they're going for now. And I highly doubt Nike will retro Fragments again. At the very most, they mock up a similar sihlouette with no Frag logo. But retroing a collab? I don't see it. Never know though.

No disrespect but the 2nd part of  your statement makes you sound really salty.

In the end it's all a matter of perception of value vs worth.  

Generally a lot of people VALUE the Fragments fairly high, either due to limited quantity, quality, and/or unique colorway that will probably not retro.

Then a lot of people do not think Fragments are WORTH a high price due to budget, hype, or missed opportunity.  

Since I own Fragments, I would agree I wouldn't pay 700 for them since I got them in a trade, but I also wouldn't spend 700 on OG's since they would be sitting for display and not worn.  I would prefer to wear and get actual use out of something if I'm going to spend 700.  

If people were actually paying more money for better quality shoes, how come the Laser 30th Anniversary's are below retail on ebay? haha

Anyways always interesting to hear people's opinions on WORTH vs VALUE
