So we arent supposed to share what we think is hot or not in the AJ1 thread, just to make sure that theres no hype on RD and we can have our pizza parties?

There is a huge difference between sharing
Your opinion on how it looks and claiming a Certain release will be just like the frags.

Stopped at "nobody wanted royals"

Mom and pops in NYC sold royals one - two weeks before release date if nobody wanted em why did they sell out. The hype wasn't till after the release when people found out they were mostly allocated overseas.

People wanted royals.

Maybe "nobody" was too strong. Ok people wanted them. But in comparison to the other releases that day , they weren't on the priority list.

Ehh I dunno most people were ready for the royals.

People jumped through hoops for them I think you're pretty off base with that one

Hype for the frags in its thread didnt kill it

It was the people going in there and claiming that they're trash AKA Salty peepz that set it off.

What do people expect when they go in a dedicated shoe thread and then bash it.

As for the release type, always helps to be prepared for the worst and not get my hopes up.

The funny thing is not many people actually said they were trash. Most said they wouldn't pay the asking resell prices even though they liked the shoe, and got called haters as a result of it. LOL

We all know N/A 1's aren't general release at this point. There are two choices, hit on RD or pay the resell. Simple. All the crying months in advance is comical. :rolleyes

You guys underestimating the power of NT. All the sneaker blogs check NT daily and report things from NT daily. Most of the popular "sneakerheads" that everyone follows on Twitter/IG are NT lurkers or members who don't post much on here anymore.
