It's a double edge sword. Hypebeast makes us more cooler than we are cause we have what they want. Cancel out the hype then this culture goes back to the way it was. But there will always be someone paying more than they should be. Would you wanna give up a few likes to have a chance at shoes that supposed to sit or take a little longer to sell?

Main dislike of resell are the GMs and fakes that are out there. No way am I spending a premium when you have no idea where it came from. If I don't cop I take the L like a man and go for another. I have so many sneakers it doesn't even matter if I get another. Paying hundreds over retail for kicks when you can get a Buschemi for the same or less makes me laugh.
Not hating the game. Just not participating. Nike is smart. They make more shoes to flood the market, raise the price so there is no meat on the bone. Very few kicks make any $. Eventually the hype will go away.

I never understood this statement. Buschemi's are flat out ugly to me. I think most people who cop those buy them trying to stunt. There's nothing appealing with those. Most are buying those to say hey, look at how much money i have on my feet. The funny thing is, most people don't even realize the price tag on those!
EDIT: I see others feel the same way.

Eh I wouldn't go Python I'd go with high quality leather. I don't particularly care about the producer as long as the product was par for the course. MJ is douche but I still buy ones
