I went ahead and copped the laser 1's for $150 shipped. I just couldn't justify spending 200+ on those. I hope the quality justifies the price.

Good price. Good pickup. For some reason I see a convo down the line about how everyone slept on Lasers even when they were $150. Lol. I don't buy J's for quality, but you won't be disappointed.

I don't have shadows but for some reason they're not as attractive as the others.

Agreed. Shadows werent worth a dime over retail for me then and they aren't now. Grey is one of my fav colors, but I just couldn't get with those. Tbh I'd rather have shadow lows.

I kind of agree with this, but it depends on the model. OG's are a priority for me, then I usually double back and grab the nicer quality drops. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yes, OG's are always a priority for me, which is why people see me saying pass on a lot of 1's that dropped outside Breds, Royals, and Shadows. I'll add B/W and Frags to the list (both I don't own). Everything else was trash to me. And when I say trash, i mean cw.

Nah. Family Forever, Laser, and Clovers were nice. Shattered backboards too. Laney, Carmine,Knicks, and highlight reels were the worst. B/W and shadows were ok-worth retail.

But Lasers are a joke to me. Absolutely hideous. I'd rather smell bad breathe on a female than look at those.

Quality is important..I give it that...but to me its the C/W..All I need in my life is a pair of Royals and Breds...I dont need anything else....

Growing up in the 90s and actually owning the 2001s...just a sentimental value....

 Yeah agreed, I like the bred / royal CW much more than the B&W's, I just like the quality of the B&W's.

quality is pretty good. black lasers wouldve been 10000x nicer though. i still see them sitting at my local spots. i'll probably end up copping IF price goes down. i cant justify retail for them.

Actually thinking more about this, I don't agree at all. I hated those recent Concords (reason why I don't get XIs anymore unless they are early 2000) or recent WCIVs. Just my O
