Actually thinking more about this, I don't agree at all. I hated those recent Concords (reason why I don't get XIs anymore unless they are early 2000) or recent WCIVs. Just my O

agreed. i lovED xis, but the recent shape/quality got me feeling sick. havent owned a pair since the '12 playoffs.

I feel the same way on all of the models mentioned, along with others. Couldn't do anymore more XIs after the Jams when I saw that they weren't going to fix the silhouette or up the qaulity as the price went up, and the White Cement IVs release might've been the most disappointing sneaker related event of my life

They were my grails, man. Did them no justice |I

finally saw the fragments in person this past weekend and just wow on the quality, he absolutely killed that shoe. Most buttery leather ever and the inside padding is so soft. I wish they weren't so expensive

Quality is important..I give it that...but to me its the C/W..All I need in my life is a pair of Royals and Breds...I dont need anything else....
Growing up in the 90s and actually owning the 2001s...just a sentimental value....

I'm very late to the game here but couldn't put it better myself. Those two are all I need (and maybe Chicagos). Those two colors just seem to epitomize the 1.

Thinking about doing what a lot of people in here have done in the past. Letting go a lot of your Jordan collection and just keeping and collecting 1's lol

For my dbz nerds out there.

Only Jordans I got are ones.

Probably will pick of the trinity of 3s whenever they see their next retro run and maybe a pair of black metallic Vs and maybe black infrared sixes if a deal comes along my way.

Outside that I know I don't really wanna wear them casually so I don't need them even if I really like the look of a lot of them

 I thought about it but I can't let go of the 11s, 12s, 13s, and DMP 6s

I can't get rid of my bred 11's because of this moment that had a huge impact on my life. When Jordan won the championship on Father's Day shortly after his dad passed away he just collapsed with emotion. My dad passed away right around the same time and I was a young kid, seeing that moment gave me such inspiration. He went through one of the hardest things you can go through in life and battled through it and continued to be a champion. You can overcome any obstacles. That is why bred 11s will probably always be my favorite because of the sentimental value and how much that moment impacted me.

^That's what I did. Sold most of this:

To buy a few more Royals and Blk/Rds. Just waiting for Chicagos.

I found it hard, as odd as this may sound, to enjoy or connect with some of the colors when I wore them the older I got.

Ha I think I'm also having a quarter life crisis. Like some of the flashier colorways I have are not as appealing as they once were. Can't picture myself wearing some of them anymore lol

That's what I did so I could double up on the trinity. Sold a few DS general releases and a few rarer pieces. Only shoe I regret selling is my black/red 4. If you love ones I say go for it.

that's the power of the retros man. exactly why the new kicks dont do as well - there's no legit story to go with them. love or hate him, everyone has a MJ moment
